After a few minutes of lying still with her eyes closed, the buzz and drowsiness that sex brought had relaxed her every muscle and in all honesty, the last thing she wanted to do was to get up, the desire to just roll over and wrap her naked body in her soft duvet could easily outweigh the need to stand. When Harrison's faint shuffling in the room right next to hers stopped y/n quietly got up to clean herself up before getting ready for bed.

One would have thought that once the buzz of post-sex had died one's brain starts to focus on the situation, to analyze the conditions of the deed or the after taste of having sex with your best friend but as y/n lazily got into her pyjamas her mind was blank, no intrusive thoughts, no guilt or regret. No overthinking or anxiety about the circumstances, just pleasant blankness that allowed her to sleep deeply and calmly.

The soft sound of the rain drumming against her window did more for her mood to stay put in bed, wrapped up in her warm sheets, the gloominess from outside made her room dark and cosy adding to the lazy factor. Sleep slowly abandoned her jelly-like body but she didn't move nor opened her eyes, laying on her back facing the ceiling, her head resting on the mattress between the two pillows with the duvet covering half of her face. There was a soft knock on her door and she could only mumble an incomprehensible answer. "Y/n?" Harrison's soft voice spoke, his head was poking inside her room through the small crack of the door, "You didn't set your alarm. You're gonna be late." Her eyes flew open at the admission and she sat up straight in the middle of her bed.

"What!? Shit!" She detangled herself from the sheets with a few kicks, clumsily getting up to run past him and into the bathroom on wobbly legs along with blurry vision. Harrison chuckled and shook his head walking calmly back to the kitchen to pour her a cup of coffee while hailing a car for the both of them to take them to town. The whole time she was getting ready he could hear her curse and grunt in efforts to do things quicker, stumbling on everything around her.

"Car's here!" Harrison announced from the kitchen, grabbing his backpack and putting his empty mug in the sink before taking the to-go cup with her coffee in it, a protein bar and a banana. He walked to her room and peered inside, she was sitting on her bed tying up the laces of her black Converse, her still damp hair cascading on either side of her face almost covering it completely. "Hey, we need to go." He said quietly to not startle her.

"Yeah-yeah, I'm ready." She got up, flipping her hair out of her face while grabbing her bag. "I'm super hungry, though." Y/n whined, opening the door wider so she could walk out to the front door, grabbing her keys from the small hook stuck to the wall before getting out of her flat with Harrison at tow. With his free hand, he opened the car's door for her to get in first then he climbed in.

"Here." He said handing the girl the cup and snacks he had picked for her.

Y/n gasped, surprised at his considered gesture "Oh my god. Thank you, Haz." Y/n grabbed the things, carefully placing the bar and banana on her lap to focus on the cup, closing her eyes momentarily when she took a sip of the warm drink.

"'S alright." He nodded and pulled at the seatbelt strapping himself to the seat. Silence pleasantly settled in the vehicle, each minding their own business, y/n occupied herself on her phone while Harrison opted for keeping his attention on the sheets of paper he had pulled out of his backpack.

"What're you going for?" Y/n broke the comfortable silence mid-ride, pop music coming from the car's console played at a tolerable volume. She leaned a bit towards Harrison's side, trying to peek at his fragmented script.

"Hey!" He yelped, turning the pages over so she wouldn't read anything, "'M not allowed to tell." He explained with a tinge of humour in his voice.
