Chapter 58: Ava's Sick!

(Kawaii~Chan's POV)

I can't believe that Ava's sick! And it's all thanks to that spell pool thing. I begin to dream, but I start to have a flashback.

~~Flashback~~

"Come on! Ready?" I say.

I get the camera set up.

"Say cheese!" I said as I ran to the rest of the group.

The camera took a picture of all of us.

Aaron and Aphmau were kissing and I started to fangirl about it, but Zane covered my eyes.

I start to wake up as I hear Noi.

"She isn't fine by now!" He exclaimed.

"Shut up Noi!" Asch yelled.

I wake up to see the demons in the room and Aphmau, Melissa, and Dottie are now in their clothes. They were all standing next to Ava who is still sick.

Aphmau sees me.

"You're awake." She said.

I raise an eyebrow.

"She's still sick?" I asked.

"Yeah." Aphmau replied.

I stand up from my sleeping bag and I walk into the bathroom to get my clothes on.

~~3 Minutes Later...~~

I exit the bathroom, now in my clothes, and I walk over to the others.

"What's the deal? Why isn't she better by now?" Leif asked.

"I... I don't know. The rest should have helped." I said.

Ava slightly sniffles and cries.

"But it only looks like she got worse." Dottie added.

"What is going on?" Asch asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"By all accounts, she seems sick." Melissa said.

"Stand aside, I'll take care of this." Leif said.

He begins to use his healing magic but it immediately fades.

"What the... It didn't work?" Leif asked in confusion.

"Perhaps your magic has gotten weak." Asch said.

"It has not! I learned this to show I could." Leif said.

"Perhaps the spell pool is having an adverse effect." Pierce said.

"Or humans can't be healed by Deimos magic." Rhys said.

"But... that's right... w-we never tried." Noi said.

He turns around to look at Rhys.
