Just In One Day (Jai Brooks)

Chapter 33

“Faith wake up.” I heard someone calling my name shaking me.

I groaned and put the blanket over my head.

“Jai wake her up we have a flight soon.” Cia said.

“Baby, wake up.” He said and I didn’t move I wanted to sleep.

He kissed my forehead and I smiled.

“I don’t wanna leave.” I made a puppy dog face.

“I don’t want you to leave to but we will meet again soon.” He said.

“Promise?” I held my pinky out.

“I promise.” He locked pinkies

I got up and went to the bathroom to get ready. I took a warm shower and brushed my teeth. I put on a baggy hoodie with some sweat pants because I really didn’t care I was going to be on the airplane anyways.

I decided to not even wear makeup knowing I’m likely going to start crying at the airport.

“Cia did you pack your stuff.” I asked her as she was in the shower.

“Yeah it’s just you now.” She laughed.

I made my way to pack my stuff with Jai helping me because he didn’t want me to ‘hurt’ myself.

“Thank you.” I said.

He smiled and kissed my lips and I kissed him back with my arms around his neck.

I pulled apart and our foreheads were touching.

“I’m going to miss you.” He said.

“I’m going to miss you more.” I said.

“Alright guys it’s time to go to the airport but James Daniel and Beau aren’t allowed to come because we are taking one taxi so say goodbyes now.” Luke said.

Cia and I both went towards the guys room to say goodbye, I already felt like crying I’m such a baby.

I opened their door and they were all on their phones and  Beau ran to me and hugged me tightly.

“Be safe okay Faith?” He said as we were hugging.

“Don’t worry I will.” I said rubbing his back trying to stop myself from crying.

Cia was hugging Daniel and James but I walked to them as she went to Beau and James hugged me and I looked up to him.

“You’re so short.” He chuckled.

I slapped his chest and giggled and hugged him. James gives the best hugs they are so cuddly and amazing.

“You better text me every day okay?” I said.

“I will.” He said and I got out from the hug and hugged Daniel.

“ I can’t believe you are leaving already.” He said

“I know it’s way too fast but few more months and I’ll be back with Allison.” I said as we were hugging.

“Take care of yourself okay?” He said.

“I will.” I said and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

I quickly wiped my tears making sure no one saw me crying.

Jai grabbed my bag and held my hand walking out the room with Luke and Cia behind us.

We went into the taxi and Jai had his arm around me and I had my head on his chest just listening to his heart beat as he was drawing circles on my back.

A moment later we reached the airport and Luke paid for the drive and I thanked him and the driver and the boys got our bags and we started walking in.

“We still have like 15 minutes so let’s get some Starbucks.” Cia said and I looked at Jai smiling.

He knew why I was smiling because that’s when we first met.

We went in the line and we order drinks and sat down chit chatting as time slowly passed by.

“Flight 43 to Canada is leaving in 5 minutes.” The lady said from the speaker.

“That’s our call.” Cia said as we all got up walking toward the seats.

This was it, the goodbyes.

Jai and I faced each other and I already got tears in my eyes seeing him so upset.

“I love you, you know that right?” I smiled.

“I love you more.” He said grabbing my waist and pulling me closer.

Our nose were touching and I felt his hot breath on my face and didn’t want to leave him, it’s too soon.

The tears escaped my eyes and flowed down my cheek as wiped it away with his thumb.

“Don’t cry baby or I’m going to cry.” He said.

“I’m sorry but I don’t want to leave you again. I want to stay here with you and hug and kiss you all day long. You make me feel so safe Jai and when I’m alone I just need you.” I said leaning my head on his shoulders as he rubbed my back.

“I don’t want you to leave as well but you’re almost done school beautiful. Few more months and before you know it I’ll be there by your side and we will become a family and I swear I would never let anything hurt you or Allison.  I’m always going to be there with you but just in your heart, we will skype every day I promise.” He said and I hugged him tighter not wanted to go.

“Last call for Flight 43.” The lady said.

I looked at Jai and he dropped a tear down his face and I wiped it and kissed him passionately knowing that this kiss would be the last kiss I will have with Jai till the next time I meet him which is going to be in 6 months, half a year.

He kissed me back as his tongue enters my mouth and it was the best kiss we ever had. It meant so much as my body just got weak from his touch and our lips were just perfect together. I never wanted to let go but I pulled away.

I looked at Cia who had her legs wrapped around Luke’s waist and was crying as he kissed her, they were so cute together. Cia jumped off and we grabbed our bags and started walking away. I didn’t want to turn back because I was crying as salty tears were flooding down my face. I didn’t want him to see me so upset or it would break his heart.

“FAITH!” He screamed out loud and I stopped and turned around and looked at him and he was crying as well.

He run up to me and kissed me again and I kissed him back.

“I love you.”  He said.

“I love you too.” I  said as I gave another soft kiss on his lips and wiped me eyes.

“Please don’t cry.” He said.

“I can’t help it.” I said crying more.

He hugged me again.

“Faith it’s time to go.” Cia said and I pulled away and looked at Jai and Luke quickly came to us again and hugged me as Cia hugged Luke.

“Take care of Jai for me okay.” I told Luke.

“I will just take care of yourself.” He said and he kissed my cheek.

I grabbed Cia’s hand and we walked away towards the plane.

Jai’s POV:

She’s gone. She’s know walking away from me and I won’t be seeing here in 6 months. 6 god damn bloody months. I couldn’t even survive without her for  one month. I already miss her. I need her.

“Let’s go Jai.” Luke put his hand on my shoulder.

I nodded and looked back hoping I see her running towards me but she wasn’t there she was gone.
