Just In One Day (Jai Brooks)

Chapter 7

I woke up 7 in the morning because I still couldn’t sleep from the movie and the kiss that was going to happen last night. I checked my Twitter and I got tagged in a tweet saying “ Caught @JaiBrooks1 and @Faithxx kissing last night.” Over  400 retweets and 1k favourite. There was so much hate that I thought wouldn’t be possible. So many girls hated me. It wasn’t even true, we didn’t kiss. I couldn’t handle any more and threw my phone on the bed and decided to get up and just chill on my laptop. I washed my face brushed my teeth and ate breakfast.

“Good morning little one.” Beau said.

I ignored him because I was thinking about Jai.

“Hello? Faith?”

“Huh? Oh sorry Beau. Dozed off for few seconds.”

“I wouldn’t blame you, it’s early in the morning, why are you awake?”

“Couldn’t sleep, you?”

“My girlfriends birthday’s today so thought I’d surprise her today.”

“You have a girlfriend?!” I laughed.

“Haha Faith you’re so funny.” He said sarcastically.

“Tell her I said Happy Birthday.”

I knew his girlfriend we talked and she seems really nice. Her name is Lilly. Beau and Lilly have been going out together for a year now and his fans seem to love her. Why can’t their fans love me even if Jai and I were together?

“Faith want to go for a walk with me?” Luke asked.

I nodded and grabbed my hoodie and put my hair in a messy bun. I really didn’t care how I really looked because it was just going to be a walk with Luke .

“Where did you go yesterday?”

“Around L.A. with Jai.”

“Do you like it here?”

“It’s pretty amazing, I’m happy I met you guys, you guys  make this stay so much better.”

He smiled and we started talking about random stuff.

“ Do you like my brother?” He asked me out of no where.

I froze because I didn’t know what to say. I was on the spot and I don’t know if I can tell anyone how I felt about Jai.

“No we’re friends why?”

“He seems more happy around you, and  us boys like seeing him like that after what happened between him and Ariana. It seems as if he likes you.”

I couldn’t help but smile and felt my cheeks blush.

We walked back home and watched t.v for a while still chatting and laughing until Jai came into the room, it became quiet. Jai and I haven’t really talked after last night and I didn’t know what to do. Jai looked at me and I looked down on my phone. Luke looked at me and then left the room. Jai came and sat away from me.

“Hey Faith.”

“Hey.”

He came and sat beside me and put his hand on my phone and took it away from me.

“Faith look at me.”

I looked into his dark brown eyes and couldn’t take my eyes off of them. I found out in that moment. I loved him.

“ About yesterday-“  He got cut off.

I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him. Not thinking about what I was doing I just went for it. I had to kiss him. I needed to know if he liked me back. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me on top of his lap. We were facing each other and I put my legs around his body with my arms around his neck.  He kissed me back and I pulled away from him. He smiled at me and I smiled back. It was the best feeling in the whole world.

Jais POV.

I couldn’t stop thinking about last night. I wanted to kiss her, but it got ruined. How if I never have the chance to kiss her ever again. I don’t even think she likes me back. I’ll always love Ariana but Faith was different. I made my way down the stairs and saw Luke and Faith watching t.v and laughing. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her she just makes me smile. Luke looked and both of us and left the room. I sat away from her because I didn’t know if she wanted to talk to me or not. She didn’t give me eye contact all she was doing was fidgeting with her phone. I went close her to, I had to tell her my feelings. I grabbed her phone from her and she looked at me smiling. I was confused. As I started to speak she just kissed me. I was shocked but happy that I picked her up and put her on my lap and I kissed her back. She pulled away just smiling at me. I had no choice but to smile back.
