Today was the 21st of October, my 16th birthday.
I planned to go out with Jayden but he was busy rehearsing for The X factor finals next week, I knew he couldn’t be there with me but it was okay. I woke up feeling amazing because I was going to go for my Learners and I knew I would pass because Jayden helped me. At 10am I got text from him saying “Hey babe, I’m sorry I can’t be there with you for your birthday but I promise I will make it up to you tomorrow night, let’s say we go out to dinner? I’ll call you when I get a break and good luck with your L’s test. I miss you <3” “That’s okay babe you have commitments with the show, I understand :) Yeah dinner tomorrow would be nice, call me when you can i need to hear your voice again. I miss you more <3 xx.” I replied back. I really did miss him, he was so busy with interviews the past week, them being in the final 3 and all. I wasn’t able to see him except at the live shows but after that it was go, go, go for them. So I got ready for my test and I was so nervous, I really wanted to pass on the first shot. While I was sitting the test my phone went off, someone was ringing me but I wasn’t allowed to answer. A couple of minutes went by and I was on the last 4 questions and my phone went off again. I knew it was Jayden calling and I really didn’t want him thinking I was ignoring his calls but I couldn’t answer. Anyway I finished and I went to see my score. I PASSED! I was so happy so I had to ring Jayden and tell him. I rang but he didn’t answer so I left a message “OMG I passed the L’s test babe I’m so happy, I couldn’t have passed without your help. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer your calls earlier I was sitting the test. I miss you xoxo ring me when you can, I’ll answer this time :) <3”
I went home and my friend Sarah rang me up saying she organized a birthday dinner with me and some friends so I had to be ready in 4 hours to make it and to wear something nice. It was so short notice and luckily I didn’t have any other plans for the night. I put on this lovely long purple and black dress with a purple tie-dye sheer material over the top of the dress from the waist down. I paired it some nude heels and I put my hair up in a high bun. My friend Laura picked me up from my house but she wasn’t dressed up so I thought that was quite weird. We got to this restaurant and Laura parked outside, I asked “Are you coming in?” “Nope, but there is someone in there waiting for you, so go.” She replied with a smile. Again it was weird because she said ‘someone’ not friends or the girls.
So I walked in very awkwardly by myself and Jayden was right there, with a dozen roses all dressed up. I was so surprised, I gave him one massive hug and asked him what he was doing here. He kissed me and said he got tonight off for my birthday, he is so cute. We then sat down at the table and he pulled out my chair for me, he is such a gentleman. We ordered our meal and talked for the whole night. He updated me on everything that was happening with the guys and the show and how they were doubting themselves. I didn’t know why though because they can honestly win and I told him that. We finished dinner and he paid this time, he didn’t want me too because it was my birthday and that was honestly so sweet. We walked out holding hands and he asked “What are you doing tonight babe?” “Nothing why?” I replied. “Do you want to come back to the hotel for the night? He said “To just relax and watch movies of course” He laughed. “Sure babe, I have nothing else to do, I’ll just tell my mum” I had to tell my mum because she would freak if I wasn’t home. “No need babe, I already asked her” I was shocked he actually asked my mum but it was refreshing to know that some guys will go that extra step to ask a girls parent. Anyway we walked back to the hotel because it was only on the other side of the street and when we got there all of the guys were there as well. They all wished me a happy birthday and they had a cake ready for me, they sang happy birthday. “Make a wish babe” Jayden said and so I blew out the candles. “What did you wish for?” Will asked. “If I tell you it won’t come true” I replied.
After hanging out with the guys, Jayden and I went back to his room to watch a few movies. He said “I’m going to get changed now pick out some movies to watch tonight, try not to pick out so scary ones” “Okay babe” I laughed. I went to see what ones he had and ALL of them were Disney movies, I cracked up laughing thinking he is so cute. He came out in just boxers and a tank, looking sexy as ever and said “I remember you telling me you love Disney movies, so have you picked one?” “Ahh I don’t know what to watch, maybe these?” I said holding up The Lion King, Toy Story 1 and Monsters Inc. “Sure babe, here is a jumper and shorts to wear so you’re more comfortable” I went and got changed in his jumper that was pretty big for me, I didn’t fit in his shorts so I just wore mine from under the dress. His jumper was so warm and cosy, it smelt like him too. I got back in the room and he said “Come here gorgeous” We cuddled on the bed watching the movies all night. We laughed a lot and I cried watching The Lion King and he laughed at me for it. We got a bit distracted and started to play fight around the room until Zack came in and told us to stop acting like kids. Even though he is 18 and I am 16 we acted like kids that night. So when the movies finished he kissed me goodnight and said “I hope you have had a perfect birthday, I’m so happy I could be here with you tonight. I love you gorgeous” That was the first time he has said I love you to me. I just laid there and looked at him for a while, thinking did he really just say that? “I love you too babe” I replied back with a kiss. I got closer to him, he held me and we fell asleep. I honestly think I had the best 16th birthday, I got my L’s, I was surprised at dinner by my boyfriend, we acted like little kids and laughed a whole lot and he said I love you. The night could not be any more perfect.
