I was in the middle of the perfect dream of Jayden and I, sitting on the beach, watching the sunset and him singing to me. Sounds cheesy, I know. Then right before the big firework like kiss...
*Hey, I just met you and this is crazy. But here’s my number, so call me maybe* My alarm went off.
I just wanted to be a sleep for another 10mintues, was that so much to ask for?
Anyway, when I woke up things clicked, I was going to see Jayden again today and we were going to meet up. At this point I jumped up and got ready.
What should I wear?
How should I do my hair?
What perfume should I use?
But luckily I had my best friends there to help me. Since it was a very casual outing, I wore a plain black romper with some nice purple gladiator flats and a lilac over the shoulder clutch. By this point it was 9:30, I knew I wasn’t going to get there in time so I rang Jayden, twice actually but he didn’t answer.
I got dropped off there waiting out the front, I still didn’t know where he would be but I was already 15 minutes late, could he have left or forgot?
I waited, waited and waited. 10:15 – 10:20 – 10:25. Then I hear a group of guys laughing from behind me. I turned around and there they were all 5 of them.
“Hey, Romoni I’m glad you came” Jayden came towards me and gave me a hug, I actually didn’t except a hug but I didn’t complain.
“Hey, how are you? And it’s pronounced Romoney by the way” Why did i say that? He must think I’m a b**ch now.
“Oh i’m sorry, well better now i know how to say your name” He laughed.
“Nice going Jayden, getting her name wrong already” A female voice said, i turned to see who it was and it was Keeda and Ellise. Wow, they are two gorgeous girls i wonder why Jayden wanted to see me again when girls as gorgeous as them are all around they guys.
By now Zach and Keeda and Will and Ellise went off together for lunch and Trent and Julian were going to go to the city, so it was just Jayden and I.
“So, do you want to get some lunch? I know a great place” Jayden asked.
“Ah , sure” I said.
Jayden then stuck out his hand as he walked in front of me and looked back. I held his hand trying to act all calm but inside I was screaming, nothing could wipe the smile off my face.
We walked for a while along the city then down some side roads and i asked
“Where are we going?”
“You’ll see” He answered with a smile.
A couple of minutes later we got to the beach, could my dream actually be happening?
The weather was so nice, the ocean was calm and the atmosphere was great. We got to a little beachside restaurant, it was cute. We ordered some hot chips and drinks and we started talking about each other, we talked about our past relationships, hobbies, friends, family and surprising it felt real natural talking to him. We opened up quite a bit to the point I started to tear up about some issues and he grabbed my hand on the table and said “Everything is okay” He smiled and looked up at me, I smiled back and i could swear the world just stopped, my heart beat was calmer and he was right, everything was okay. We talked more and sat there for hours, before we knew it was already 3pm.
Jayden then got a text from Julian ‘Hey where are you? We have to get ready for elimination night’
“You have to go?” Hopeing he will say no, i was enjoying our time together.
“We have to go” He said, almost like he corrected me. We then split the bill because I insisted on paying even a bit, which made us more late. By 3:30 we were there, I knew I had to leave because I wasn’t allowed in backstage so I gave him a hug, said thanks for great day and said I’ll be in the audience later on tonight, cheering for the guys.
“Are you busy later tonight” he asked as i hugged him.
“I don’t think so”
“Go out with the boys and I after the show? We are going to celebrate...thats if we dont get eliminated”
“Sure, i’ll love too”
“Bye Romoni” He joked about and ran off.
I stood there for a bit, things still haven’t sunk in but i had to go and get ready for the show. So i went back home got changed and my phones goes off caller ID ‘Jayden’
“Hello”
