As I walked away from the scene, I wondered to myself what had happened. I had made a sword from my hand. I looked at my now normal hand in wonder. How the hell did I do that? It's not possible! And yet I had just done it. I began moving in the direction of Beacon, knowing that this power was my ticket. Mad had even hinted towards that, and so it seemed like the logical course of action.

I entered the lift and went to Olivia's office for the second time. I entered, and there was no one there. To be expected. It was around 01:00, after all. Just then, the door opened, and in came Olivia.

'Now, what on Earth are you doing here, again? I told you to leave.' She told me.

"I want another chance." I did my best to stand my ground.

'And why would I do that?'

'Because it's the law that you need to prove to, not only yourself, but others that I'm not fit to come to this school.'

'Fine. You'll be fighting someone of my choosing. The battle will be either until you deplete their aura, or until they incapacitate you.'

'Thank you.' I smiled.

'Right. The fight will be in the arena classroom and will be overseen by Professor Glynda Goodwitch. Meet there at one o'clock today. And try to get some sleep, boy. Men need their beauty sleep, after all.' Olivia smirked at me and pointed at the door. I sighed and left.

With nowhere else to go, I descended in the lift and waited in the courtyard, making sure to keep and eye on the time. For some reason, I wasn't tired at all. I silently looked up at the dark night sky and watched as it slowly grew brighter and brighter. I watched the sun rise high up in the sky. I checked the clock, and it was nearing 13:00, so I stood up and arrived at the classroom exactly on time. I knocked on the door.

'Come in!' Called Glynda. I entered 'ah. You're the boy who wants to become a hunter. Well, Olivia decided you'll be fighting Nora.' She beckoned for us to enter the arena. I did so, and Nora jumped in, showing off her strength by smashing her hammer on the ground. 'Let the fight begin.'

"Just give up! I don't wanna hurt you! Pretty please!? I'll give you some pancakes!" I stayed silent. I need to get that sword back! She runs up to me, and tries to hit me with that... Warhammer? Now or never! I stick my arm out and, my arm becomes the sword again! She's obviously surprised. I then, bat her out of the ring. She goes a good 3 meters.

"W-winner! (L/n)!"

Everyone was shocked. Men didn't unlock semblances or auras, so this was obviously something different. The entire room was silent.

'Mr (L/N), please make your way to the headmistress's office.' Glynda told me. And so I did.

Up the lift I went, equally shocked at the quick wink of the fight. I entered her office.

'I won.' I told her.

'Well, I looks like I have no other choice.' She sighed. 'You'll have to stay with another team, seeing as there're no spare rooms for someone who doesn't have a team. You'll be with these four people, as well as another team as a substitute member. You'll replace one if they die or get sick, or need another person. These teams will be team RWBY and JNPR. Let them decide which room you stay in.' I nodded, then left the office.

I then descended in the lift and  wandered around school until I found a door marked RWBY. I knocked on the door. It instantly opened, and a white haired girl looked at me.

'What do you want?' She asked, spitting the words out as though they were rotten.

'I was to.d to let team RWBY and JNPR decide which team I stay with. I'll be a substitute member for both teams.'

'I see...' she sighed. 'Well...'

'You stay here!' Called a blonde.

'Yeah!' Cried a girl clothed in red.

'Let him decide for himself.' Said the girl dressed in black.

'Oh, shush. Come on!' The red girl dragged me into the room.

And with that started my life at Beacon Academy.
