That's New.

She looked down. She seemed ashamed of herself. She then puffed out her chest, once more covering up her vulnerable, real emotions. She huffed then muttered a few indistinguishable words. She then walked past me and left the immediate vicinity. I decided I wanted to invade her privacy, as well as find out more about her, so I followed her. She entered the girls bathrooms. I waited outside a moment before I heard her crying. I suppose that he being an heiress means that she must keep a stiff upper lip. Quite pitiful, if I do say so myself.

I left to to cry alone and went to the room. I felt rather exhausted after the day's ordeals, so I fell asleep in the bath. I didn't want to get into another bed after being sexually abused by Yang. Despite the others being relatively reasonable in letting me sleep, I also didn't want to be a burden.

I woke up to the light yelp of one of my teammates. Weiss, to be exact. She looked at me once more.

'We've been looking for you.' She seemed out of it. Perhaps our previous conversation had take. A toll on her. I smiled internally. I was a bit of a sadist at heart. 'We were worried.' She continued.

'O-oh. Sorry...' I looked down. Despite my inner monologue, I didn't really act like an arse to other people. At least I don't think I do.

'You were sleeping in the bath?' She seemed concerned.

'I didn't want to be any trouble.' She gasped slightly. She came close to me and took my hands in hers.

'You're not a burden, (Y/N). It's just that...' she paused.

'That what?'

'That you being independent makes us scared for you. Do you understand?' Was she telling me to not be an independent man? Was she one of those women who didn't want women and men to be equal? Damn. She's not doing herself any favours.

'You want me to be dependant on you?' She was about to say something, but decided against it. She thought for a moment before continuing.

'That's not it. Just let us know when and where you are. And preferably what you're doing as well.' She smiled at me. I didn't smile back. 'Look. Just try not to worry us, okay?' She placed a hand on my cheek, making me look into her eyes.

'I think I need to be alone for a while.' I pulled away and exited the dorm room. I went for a walk around Beacon, not really wanting to go into Vale, seeing as I wanted to be away from people. Not in their midst.

I wandered around the outside of the grounds where nearly no one ventured. I sat on the edge of the cliff overlooking the initiation grounds. The forest was pretty. I stared at the emerald green grass below the trees. I smiled a moment, and fell asleep once more. I was truly surprised as to how much I was sleeping. As I slept, I heard a voice.

'Jump.' It said. It repeated itself. 'Jump. Jump. Jump. Jump.' I jerked up from sleep.

'Who said that?!' But no one answered. I was alone on the edge of the cliff. That was odd. It had told me to jump. But should I?

I activated the Punk Busters and jumped off the edge. I landed with a thud, but luckily, nothing broke. I was quite proud of myself for landing in a superhero pose. I stood up, and noticed I was surrounded by a large pack of beowulves. They all surrounded me. There must have been over a dozen of them. Suddenly, from out of my body shot strands of nanties, equal to the amount of Grimm there were. Each one was impaled by the nanties, then shrivelled up and died. However, it was different than usual. Usually, they durned to dust. This time, they simply deflated.

The strands of nanties each grew tenfold, then retracted into my body. He moment that happened, I could feel my body become empowered with an excess of energy. I was expecting to explode, releasing the spare energy, but instead I felt my body grow, growing armour and weapons on my body. It almost felt like the Mercer virus all over again.

     And then, I blacked out.
