"Hurry up baby" Luke groans from my bed well I am still in the bathroom finishing my makeup.

"You are so impatient, it only took me a minute" I say as I walk out of the bathroom wearing some black leggings and one of Luke's hoodies.

It's getting cold out already!

"A minute to long" He mumbles but doesn't say another word as we go downstairs to answer the door.

"Hey Tracy, hi Mike" I say as they walk in looking grim.

"Hello sweetheart" Tracy says and gives my cheek a kiss then hugs her son.

"What's wrong?" Luke asks picking up on their bad mood.

"Well we decided we need a search squad to send after Tyler" Tracy says as we all sit down at the kitchen table.

"I'll go" I say quickly.

Luke shakes his head. "No way"

I look at him. "You can't stop me"

"Noel as much as we appreciate your offer, Luke is right you cant come along" Mike says.

"To hell with that! Tyler took my sister away from me, there is no way I'm sitting on the sidelines" I say standing up.

It looks like both Luke and his dad are about to say something but Tracy cuts in.

"I say let her, why not, she's a fighter"

I smirk. "Thank you Tracy" I say and sit back down well Luke looks angry.

"I cant protect you out there" He snarls softly.

I take his hand. "Luke I don't need you to protect me, I'll be fine" but he just shrugs off my hand, before he dashes upstairs he glares at his parents.

"Why are you doing this?" Then he is gone before they can answer.

"I didn't know he would react like that" I mumble to them.

"He loves you, he doesn't want to see you hurt that's all" Mike says.

"I'm a vampire though" I say meeting their eyes.

"You could still get hurt sweetie, just go talk to him, meet us at the police station tomorrow instead" Tracy Pat's my hand before standing up and going out the door.

I go upstairs and find Luke in his room, lights off, face down on his bed.

"Baby?" I ask and use vampire speed to go to him, resting my hand on his bare back.

"If something happens to you', His voice cracks and he stops talking.

"Luke, I'm going to be fine you have to trust me, Tyler messed with my family" I say and he finally looks at me.

"You don't get it, Tyler wants you no one else"

"Let him try" I growl.

He sits up and hugs me letting me smell his soft honey smell.

"I'm going with you" He mumbles into my hair.

He cant come with me! What if something happens to both of us? What will happen to London?

"You cant, London needs you" I say and lean back so I can see his eyes.

"She needs me, I need you" He whispers.

We fall asleep in each other's arms and we don't wake until we hear a window break.
