Chapter 3

Next day, you finished all of your household works. After that, you started to get ready. You put on your makeup. You pulled out you favorite black slit gown to wear at the party. He said to wear formal so you went for it. You were looking really pretty in that dress that anyone can fall for you. You wore your favourite heels which matched with your dress. It was nearly 7 p.m. He should be here any minute. You were really excited but also nervous. *Beep beep*. "Fuck, he's here I guess," you said running down the stairs.

He rang the bell of your door. You opened the door and saw him in a really gorgeous suit. He was looking breathtaking as always. He looked at you up and down which made you feel something in your stomach. Maybe it's those butterflies. "Wow y/n! You look really pretty," he said. His eyes wide. "Thanks," you thanked him smiling. "Welcome. Shall we go now?" "Yeah, sure." Then both of you headed to his car. He opened the door for you. "Such a gentleman!" you thought to yourself. He's cold to everyone but you. He's a full softy in front of you. And you loved this side of him.

The car ride was awkward. There was an awkward silence between you two until he spoke,"You have to stay with me all the time, ok? Don't wander around alone." "Yeah, sure," you say laughing. He also laughs with you. You two had a little chit chat with each other. You two got to know each other a little more. You two reached the venue. It was beautifully decorated. He parked the car then told you to wait before he got out of the car and jogged to your side to open the door for you. You let out a small giggle at his cute action. He took your hand in his and you two walked inside the venue.

Everyone was greeting both of you. When you entered the venue everyone was looking at you. Brian was really popular in business field, so everyone at the party knew him. He kept you close to him all the time. His hand rested on your waist. You liked that. The couples were kissing each other to show everyone their bond. Then there were you and Brian who were just standing like you don't know each other. "We gotta do something y/n, otherwise they will doubt us thinking that we're not a couple," he said. "So what should we do?" you asked him raising an eyebrow. "We have to kiss each other," he said looking into your eyes.

Your eyes widened after hearing this. You two held an eye contact. You were lost in his eyes. You didn't notice that his face came really close to you. When you realised that,it was too late. His lips were already on yours. He pulled you closer to him as he kissed you. The noise of the people from the party was muted. It felt like everything around you had stopped. Though the kiss lasted for a few seconds it felt like it lasted forever. You wished that moment could last forever. After you two pulled out for air, you couldn't look at him. You were looking everywhere but him. Your cheeks flushed red because of the shyness.
