"wow you look gorgeous" my mum says while staring at me with admiration.
I smile then walk down the stairs with my prom dress and heels.
"thank you" I reply.
"wait, let me take you a picture" my dad says while holding the camera.
I pose and he takes a snap.
"so is your date coming? He shouldn't make you late" says mum.
"yes he's on his way".
Knock knock knock
I walk towards the door then open it.
My heart skips when I see Chris standing by the door.
His black suit seats on him flawlessly.
He looks at me from top to bottom, his eyes glued to me and no words coming out of his mouth.
"hey" I smile at him.
He snaps back to reality "hey" he smiles "wow Cathy, you look amazing, flawless, I don't have the proper words to describe you" he says.
I blush and shy away "thank you".
"come on here kids, let me take you a picture" my dad shouts from the living room.
"wait for me" Stacey shouts while pulling up in the driveway.
Her and Antonio hop out of the car then rush in to take pictures.
We take as much pictures and my parents want.
"the Limo is outside" my dad says.
"oh great I guess we gotta go".
We walk outside then get inside the Limo.
"OMG this is beautiful" Stacey says with excitement.
"enjoy kids, and remember no sex!" my dad says.
"OMG dad please don't embarrass me" I reply.
We wave goodbye as the Limo drives off.
"this is amazing" I say then sip on Sparkling Wine.
We arrive at school then hop out of the Limo
"Thank you" I say to the chauffeur.
"I'll fetch you at 11 miss Smith" he smiles then drives off.
We walk to the School hall where everyone is dancing, talking and shouting.
"would you like something to drink?" Chris asks.
"Orange Juice" I reply.
"be right back" he leaves then Antonio follows him to get Stacey a drink as well.
Stacey looks at me with excitement "I hope this will be the best night of our lives".
"it will" I reply with excitement.
We drink, dance, eat and have a great time.
"okay ladies and gentlemen" Mr. Brook says while standing at the stage and the DJ lowers the volume.
All the students turn and look at him
"I hope you guys are having a great time"
Everyone cheers.
"if you're not, you are about to have the best time of your lives, but first let's announce the prom King and Queen".
Everyone claps and cheers.
