[Cathy's POV]
Highschool is hell if you ask me. I'm so eager to get out of this place.
This is my last year and the only reason I survived for this long is because I'm invisible. I'm an ordinary girl who has managed to go through all these years without being noticed. There's nothing interesting about me nor my life and I honestly prefer it that way.
I can't say the same thing about my best friend, Stacey.
She is the cool one, popular and of-course everyone adores her.
She always has drama, she knows everything that happens around here and I honestly don't care about all that. But she would go on and on about what's happening between who and all the gossip.
We're seated at the school cafeteria for a little chat before the morning classes begin.
She's seated across the table facing towards me. Her blonde hair is tied up to a bun, she has nice structured eyebrows and her eyes are as blue as the ocean. Her lips are covered with a pink lipstick.
I can only hear Stacey's voice from afar.
"Are you even listening to me?" She asks, giving me a look of annoyance.
I snap back to reality "uhm yeah you were saying?" I cast her an apologetic smile.
"You always do that you know?" She rolls her eyes "as I was saying, Teresa found out that her boyfriend Mike is cheating on her with her best friend Kayla. She saw them kissing at that hot party the last weekend, apparently it has been going on for some time now and everyone knew about it except her."
I shrug "well that's savage isn't it? I mean if everyone knew she would have found out about it earlier."
" I don't know but I heard she wants to plot a revenge" She says with excitement.
I can't help but laugh "you love drama don't you?"
"Nah I just like being kept updated about what's happening, makes life a bit more interesting" she gives me a smirk.
I roll my eyes and check the time on my phone "well time for classes, I'll see you later okay" I give her a hug and we both make our way to our classrooms.
Well this is going to be one heck of a long day. It's Monday and Mrs. Daniels tone of voice sounds equally bored as the rest of the class.
"Take out your textbooks and go to chapter 10" she says in a monotonous voice.
While turning the chapters of the book, an unfamiliar face appears on the door, a guy. He stands there confusion written all over his face.
He's wearing a blue denim shirt and a pair of black jeans.
He's good looking.
His brown hair is a mess of waves falling to his face, he has thick eyebrows and beautiful ocean eyes. His lips are full. This guys' face is structured like an angel. He looks innocent, so cute.Mrs. Daniels walks towards him and they exchange words for a minute then she turns around and instructs us to pay attention.
"May I have your attention please"Every student tilts their heads to face them.
"This is Christopher Curry, he's from Britain, he has just been transferred here. Please welcome him and make him feel comfortable." she says.
A few students wave and greet him.
He waves back in a reluctant manner while smiling shyly.
