3. Welcome To The World Of Drama

It feels awkward walking to the cafeteria and I can hear a few whispers coming from the girls standing next to the stairs.

girl one: is that her?

girl two: yeah that's her.

guy: she's hot though.

I roll my eyes and continue to walk while everyones attention is on me.

I feel awkward.

How do popular people even handle this much attention.

I notice Stacey seated at the chilling area next to the cafeteria, she notices me and lifts up her hand.
I walk towards her and notice that she's hanging out with a guy. He has long black hair, thick eyebrows and brown eyes. He's pretty cute.

I notice that they are cozy towards each other.

"Hey" I greet as I take a seat across the table.

The guy nods and Stacey replies back.
"Hey, this is Antonio" she says and turns her head towards Antonio "this is my best friend Cathy, the one I was telling you about".

"Hi Cathy, I've heard a lot about you, especially after what happened this morning" Antonio says.

"Ohh you also know about that?"

Well news escalate quickly don't they.

He laughs "yeah, but don't worry I don't believe what they say about you, you look decent and hot"

Stacey pinches his arm jokingly as a way of showing jealousy and he groans.

"Speaking of today, what the heck happened this morning? I WANT DETAILS!!" She pouts.

We both look at Antonio as a way of telling him to leave.

He stares at the both of us, confused. Then he catches it after a minute
"Ohh you want me to leave?" He asks.

Well duhh obviously.

He stands up and gives me a handshake "it was nice to meet you"
Then he kisses Stacey on the cheek and she blushes, he then leaves.

"Aaaannd what was that?" I ask, shook from what I've just observed.

"Shut up" she says, timidly.

"Ooohh so Antonio huh?!" I laugh and tease her.

Her cheeks are red from blushing and she doesn't say a word.

"Well? I'm all ears" I look at her.

"Gosh fine! We've been talking for a while, nothing serious. We hanged out today morning cause I was waiting for you and you didn't show up, he's a nice guy and I think I like him"

"And you didn't bother to tell me about it? Wow what a bestfriend I have" I say with sarcastically.

She rolls her eyes " I just didn't think it was important"

It was my first time talking to Antonio but I usually see him around, he hangs out with his friends and he's in the school band. I just didn't know that Stacey and him had a little something going on. She looks happy and that's all that matters. I think he's a good guy.

"Enough about Antonio, what the heck happened this morning?" She asks, interest consuming her face.

"Where do I even begin?"

I tell her about everything that happened in the morning, about the incident, how I got frustrated by the 2 Girls in my class and
I tell her about Chris.
