"Waaahhhh!"

"Argh...", Susie groaned. This has been the third time Gabriel has thrown a fit in the middle of the night... the same night. It was a quarter pass three. The baby's cries echoed through the hall. Noelle started to leave from out the bed.

"I got him..." she yawned and put on her robe then left the room. Susie was displeased with Noelle leaving. She'd tried going to sleep again but couldn't. The Dino had gotten so use to Noelle's presence. So use to holding her; having her muzzle buried into Noelle's fur. Taking in the doe's gingerbread scent every time the purple monster inhaled. The crying, without her even noticing, had stopped. It stopped awhile ago while she was struggling to go the fuck back to sleep. After at least ten minutes of tossing in turning, Susie decided to get up to check in on Noelle and her cousin. Well technically their cousin by marriage.

Susie progressed out the bed and down the hall to her old room. When Noelle and Susie decided to rebuild Susie's home. They added a few new room and remodeled the old ones. One of those added rooms would be the current room Noelle and Susie now share. Susie's old room was a bit too small to fit the both of them.

As the T- Rex approached the room she could hear a faint humming. She creeped her head into the doorway slightly and saw the most beautiful picture. Noelle swaying gently and walking ever so slowly round the room with a sleeping baby in her arms; humming December from Anastasia. Susie's began to heart flutter. Something about this made Susie turn the mush. She started to walk into the room. She caught a glimpse of Noelle's ear twitch before her deer wife had turned around. She gave a tired yet tender smile and softly whispered.

"Hi" Susie started to head towards her. "I just got this little one to sleep. Again." She laughed softly. "He had a little potty accident in his diaper." She slowly put him the baby back in the middle of Susie's bed. There were safely cushions in the floor if he happened to roll off in his sleep. Every time Susie looked at him. She could help but see how small and fragile the baby was. She could hold him in one hand. That's precisely what scared her. She wouldn't even hold him; too scared that she might crush the little thing. That was one reason she never mentioned having kids. But in that moment the thought of having at least one little monster of there own wasn't such a bad idea.

"He's a little cute when he's sleeping" Noelle rolled her eyes and shook her head. Why Susie still continued the tough guy act continues to astound her to this day.

"Come on, love. Let's go back to bed" Noelle started to walk out the room. But didn't get very far. Susie had scooped her up and carried her to their room.

"Okay little Gabe, here comes Santa's sleigh. Ho, ho, ho." Susie snickered at this. That was the cutest yet lamest version of "here comes the airplane" ever. It killed her every time she used it. But what else could she expect from her Christmas themed wife her Christmas themed family. They had a Christmas tree in the living room for Christ's sake. In the middle of spring no less. It never got taken down either.

"Still not eating huh?" Noelle's defeated sigh was answer enough.

"I don't know what to do. He can't just not eat."

"Maybe he's not hungry right Now. You don't have to follow Jenna's instructions to the letter. Just feed him later when he's up for it."

"I suppose you're right." Noelle dejected. Susie beamed proudly.

"Of course I am." Noelle walked up to Susie with Gabriel and gave a reassuring smile.

"I know you're nervous about holding him but can you try for me. I need something from upstairs.

"Uhh..." but what if I-

"You won't. Cradle your arms. The breathe. You know your own strength. You haven't broken me yet after all~" she winked causing Susie blush a tint of pink.

"I guess that's true." The Dinosaur did as instructed and silently held her breath as Noelle placed the baby in her arms. Gabriel looked up at her and then looked back at Noelle. His head cutely wobbling as he did so. He was so soft. Watching him fiddle with his little hands awed Susie. He wasn't crying or anything either. Which relieved her. She didn't move a muscle not wanting to disturb the little buck in any way.

"See you're doing it" she nuzzles Susie and started her ascent upstairs. "Oh and baby. Don't forget to breathe."  At that Susie exhale and inhale deeply. Then jumped a bit as Gabriel face scrunched up.

"Ah shit- please don't cry-" Gabriel sneezed.
"Oh... uh bless you." Susie felt a tightness in her chest. "So fucking cute..." she thought.

"Alright. I'm back- honey? Are you okay..?" Noelle face went from calm to concerned. Susie was current clutching her chest, back arched back, and her face scrunched hella hard.

"yEs..." she croaked out silently.

"You sure?" She observed her wife and hesitantly took Gabriel out her grasp.

"mHm.." she nodded and adjusted herself upright.

"Uhm okay"  she started to put Gabriel into a baby carrier on her chest.

"What do you have that on for?"

"I thought Gabriel could use some fresh air and I would like to maintain my figure. Especially with all the fast food we've been eating lately. You should come walk too I see you getting a little flabby yourself." She teased.

"That's not what you were saying yesterday."

"What do you mean-" Susie cut her off.

"Correction, thats not what you were screaming yesterday." Noelle frowned; a pink tint forming on her face. Susie continued. "Oh Susie~ oooooh~ you're so strong~~~~" Susie's imitation made Noelle all the more embarrassed.

"Hmph. I don't recall. But if you insist any further on being vulgar in front of the baby you'll be giving moans of your own tonight. Something like. 'Noelle oh please~ please~.....not the couch." Noelle finished her sentence in a deadpanned voice with a deadpanned look."

"Fine." The Dino grumbled.

"Good. I'll be off then." The set out into the world with Gabriel.

"Careful when leaving the forest with that runt!"

"I will!" The Dinosaur Snorted, closed the door, and paced over to the couch.

"Hm... maybe having a kid might be okay. Noelle's good with 'em. I guess I can learn to be decent. The thing didn't cry so that's some starter points, right?...

Right....?"
