Chapter 7

1 Hour.

1 Hour until my Exhibition starts.

After 3 hours of looking through my clothes and then running into the city because I couldn't find nothing to wear, I was ready. A baby blue silky dress, nude stilettos, hair into a messy bun finished off with a light but sparkly make up. I was nervous. Is this the start of my Career? If yes, I should do my best tonight.

Taking my purse, I went out to meet Chin-Hwa in front of my Hotel. He was already waiting for me outside wearing a black suit, hair all slicked back. Well dressed for the Exhibition.

"Miss Ryu, you ready?"

"Yes but...I'm a bit worried that the night will not go as I imagine"

"Nothing goes as you wish" he said while looking really serious. I stopped in my tracks.

"Wow that really helped me. Thank you Chin-Hwa!" I rolled my eyes. I'm trying to calm myself down and he just-

"It can go much better"

He smiled. He knew exactly what he did.

"You-...If you say so. But if not you'll pay for it!"

"Whatever you want, Miss Ryu" he said while winking at me.

"I didn't meant that Mr. Han, so gather up!"

He was smirking "What did you think I thought about?"

"Just get in the Car. I don't want to be late" I said getting in the Car.

I only knew Chin-Hwa for a few weeks but I can tell that he's a womanizer. He knows how to play with women. And he has the looks as well. He can just flick with his Hand and women would fall for him immediately. He can try as much as he wants but I'm not falling for him. Men have to know their limits. Or at least you need to show them.

He got in his Car and we drove off to his Gallery where the exhibition will take place. He didn't talk with me unless it's about business.

Soon we arrived. Having 20 minutes left, until the start of the exhibition, we went around to check if everything was in order. His Gallery was nothing special. Modern building. Plain white walls. he kept it simple. My Paintings were the only accessories adding color.

_

We welcomed everyone at the entrance and handed them our flyers we prepared during the week. I left Chin-Hwa to chat with the visitors. They liked my Paintings and praised me for my work. This was such a good feeling. Finally doing what I want and love! Who would know that will soon pass...

The Exhibition was going well, everyone seemed satisfied. But I was still waiting for someone who considered to buy one of my Paintings. I nearly lost my hope until an elderly women approached me saying that she was interested in buying one.

"Sure, but we need to talk this out with Mr. Han. So if you would follow me"

The women followed me into what seemed like Chin-Hwa's office.

"I'm happy to hear that I can sell one of my Clients paintings. She worked hard and is finally reaching her goal. Please take a seat Mrs.?"

"Mrs. Park"

"Yes, Mrs. Park you're one of her first Customers!"

She was a wealthy and a women with class. Which I Can tell from her attitude "Well she should know that I only settle for the best and that she should appreciate my interest in her Work"

"I do appreciate your interest Mrs. Park. And that I do my best when it comes to my Paintings. We will make sure to deliver your purchase safely to your Home!"

She looked down smiling then back up to me.

"Sure. Your Welcome! Now, let's talk about the Price. Shall we?"

I wanted to say something but Chin-Hwa stopped me by holding his hand up.

"I will take this from now on Miss Ryu" he then turned back to Mrs. Park "Mrs. Park my client may be new to the business world and you might think her Paintings will be sold for a cheap price. Not trying to sound rude at all I need to say this isn't going to happen" he kept smiling all the way through.

"Such talent should not be wasted, right?"

Mrs. Park looked a bit shocked but then softened up.

"Of course. I will pay whatever the price is. Don't think so little of me Mr. Han!" She said laughing.

"Okay, how about 100.000.000 Won? Would make 100.000 US-Dollars. A good deal"

"Looks like I'm between experts" she tried to laugh off the awkward tension "That's a good deal"

She held out her hand to Chin-Hwa and they shook hands as well with me.

"Just transfer the money to my bank account tomorrow and soon you will have your Painting hanging in your home!"

"Thank you Mr. Han. Miss Ryu?" She turned to me. She looked a bit pissed. Did I do something wrong? "It was a pleasure to meet you good luck in your future!"

Mrs. Park soon left us. Only me and Chin-Hwa were left back.

"This was your biggest sell so far. I sold other paintings too, but small ones. The exhibition was a success!"

"You sold more? I didn't expect that actually. It went really well. I think everything will get better from now on!" I started to gather my things. It was late and as much as I was excited I was also tired "It's late. We both should leave and rest"

"You need to rest I still have things to take care of. I will talk to you in a few days and will transfer your money. Your first win!" he pulled back his chair and got up.

"I will make sure you arrive safely at your Hotel. Goodnight Rose"

"Thank you for your help. You have a big part in this as well Chin-Hwa. See you in a few days, Goodnight"

I left the building feeling satisfied. No arrange marriage. No need to work in my Dad's Company. Tomorrow I would tell my Dad about everything...Or I will tell him when everything is done completely. The Customers could still change their mind and cancel the purchase, right?

What am I saying. What could go wrong now?

Chin-Hwa's POV

Rose left and know I could finally finish my Plan. But first Seungri. I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.

"Seungri? Is everything going according to plan?" I started to look through some papers.

"Yes everything's fine. You sure about this? I kind of pity her"

I gave my attention back to the phone call.

"You pity her? You didn't even pitied your own wife when you cheated on her. She wasn't enough for you so you went and fucked some other Girl" I started to laugh. How pathetic he is "then why should I pity her huh?"

He went silente.

"I still-"

"Exactly! Now come and get your Payment" I hung up and sat back in my chair.

That was fun. I would love to see Rose' face when she finds out that I scammed her. Poor Girl has a lot coming her way.
