(The last chapter was so SO complicating and rushed and i'm so sorry; I promise it won't be as shit as that was again).

Mark's POV:

I know I should be excited to see my mum but i'd rather spend time with Jack, we moved in together so we could feel safe being with each other openly in a home that we could call ours. And then as soon as it happens she has to show up? What if she realises? She's a clever woman, what if she disowns me and tells the family and they get mad at me? I'm not ready to-

*incoming call from Sean💕*

"Answer". As soon as Mark said this his very expensive car answered the call.

"Is everything alright baby?"
"Y-yeah I jus-t had a b-bad drea-m". The stuttering from his voice made it obvious to me that he was shaking.

"Sean, everything is going to be okay, go and get into our bed and take the puppy or chica or even both with you, i'll be back soon with my mum and then we can talk, okay?"

"Thank you M-mark".

"Mark, Do you have a girlfriend yet?" Mark's mother asked him and all of a sudden his hands became clammy and his brow began to sweat.

It wasn't like he was fully lying when he replied with yes. The last time he had said no to having a girlfriend he received a two hour speech as to why he should already be settled down and married.

"Ohhh good!!!! When will I be meeting her? When will you be marrying?"

"Mum, you'll meet them at some point and we're not getting married yet".

"Okay, well I better meet her while i'm here".

"You will, don't worry". Mark had never been so terrified in his whole life when they pulled up to his driveway.

"Mark when I get in I will be sleeping, still tired from the flight".

Mark grabbed his mothers things as they entered the house and headed straight to the guest room his mum would be staying in, right next to Jack's. But his mother opened his bedroom door, it had been a while since she'd been over so it wasn't easy to remember which room was hers; but she did see Jack on Mark's bed, a blanket covering his bottom half; his hair sticking up everywhere and Chica laying across his chest.

She slowly moved back and quietly closed the door, pretending that she hadn't seen anything.

"Baby?" Mark whispered as he entered his room.

Sean and his mess of a hair pop out from under the blankets, his crystal blue eyes connecting with his boyfriends.

"My mum's asleep". Mark said, still whispering as he moved forward to join Sean in their bed. Mark slid his jeans off before slumping onto the bed behind Jack's small frame.

Jack sighed in content as he leant back onto Mark's body. "Would you like to talk about your nightmare?" Mark whispered close to Sean's ear.

"I'm scared your mom isn't going to like me".

"Baby, even if she doesn't, it doesn't matter. Her opinion on you is irrelevant; I love you, okay? You don't need her to like you".

"I know, I just want to be enough for you".

"Hey, you are more than enough for me". Mark replied sincerely, staring into Sean's eyes with care and reassurance.

Falling asleep was easy when they had each other to hold but they couldn't risk Mark's mom coming in so Mark went to the guest room; regardless of Sean's need to persuade him to stay.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours and hours made the sun rise and the sky brighten, neither of them had gotten any sleep; all because they were apart.
