7. Princess Blue(bell)

Nothing dazzles like the princess in her palace
Radiating a mystical sapphire glow
Her light, electric rays of compassion
The breeze, soft and elegant, her dance
The world's fields, her stage
Each droplet of warm summer rain
A burst of life, tears now sweet, faded from pain

Harmonising, with the evenings slumbering into night, she sings the sun to sleep
Intertwined, yet each unbelievably strong, her leaves
Are outstretched like a caring hand
And as the moon becomes her spotlight, she smiles at the glinting waters
And from it doesn't her tiara just glow?
And from it doesn't beauty simply flow?

Each petal an imprint of heart's perfection
Each jewel on her crown love that's irrepressible
Each light that glimmers from her joy in life, happiness for our world
Each leaf compassion that overcomes every single fall
Her whole being, beauty that's deep inside of us all

But then before she could turn around
Darkness stole her tiara
Her leaves began to droop in despair
And she was a screaming blue amongst a dismal grey
Someone threw gasoline onto the whole scene
Now, crying into the stream is the only place she's seen

As she watched the light of dark destroy all
As the flame in soul after soul burnt out, her petals, softly, slowly, began to fall
As anger drowns out her song
As hate blocks her dance
She screams, the sound filling the gaping rift between us, till there's no aggression, only tears
A tsunami of hope flies forward, through the barricades of anger, her strength sears
As the bad seem to grasp all
And the good only seem to stumble and fall

Even though her petals were easily broken in
And her soul, so good, but so silky thin
Her tears have nurtured a new life
The future in - us?
As the light filters in with each action of care
A petal grows back, brighter than ever before,
And her new crown glows a little more

Now she's even more radiant, glowing and strong
And with each act of powerful goodness from the world, is confident she does belong
Yeah, princesses look stunning in their tiaras, and that's all good and fine,
But queens, true queens make their own crowns shine

The impact of hate will always leave an unmistakable, heartbreaking stain,
But watch out, because now kindness will have its golden reign.
