Chapter 2

Morning soon came.

Virgil is very tired, and A knock came and Virgil groans. The door opens. "hey kiddo. Breakfast is ready" he says and Virgil gets up.

"Okay.." he says yawning, he gets out of bed and looks in his bag. He changes his cloths to rags, slightly ripped but neat. He puts the cloak back on and the hood up. He heads out and sees Patton waiting.

"The others are waiting" he says smiling. "so let's not keep them waiting" he leads the way and I follow. He doesn't mind what I wear so that is nice. "hey, Anxiety. This is a heads up, Roman might criticise you for what you wear. Logan might give tips to be better. My brother will live and care. Remus.." he stops.

"He lives in the dark kingdom." Virgil says, and Patton nods, then stops.

"How did?"

"...I...nevermind..continue" Virgil says not wanting anymore attention so Patton let's it slide. He continues to chat until they get to the dinning hall.

"Hey guys" Patton says smiling. Logan smirks at Patton's arrival, then his eyes land on Anxiety.

"Who is this?" He ask as nice as he could.

"This is Anxiety. He will live here" Patton says, then another voice comes from behind Virgil which made him turn.

"Another one to look at my game" he poses, then lands his eyes on him. "what are you wearing? It is.." he thinks.. "alright I guess." He sits down and Patton pushes Virgil next to Roman. Picani walks in and sees Virgil.

"Hello, I am Picani, Patton's brother" he says holding his hand out.

"Anxiety" he says not wanting to touch anyone. Picani nods and leaves Virgil to his doing. Then he takes his seat. Thomas soon joins and they soon start to get their meals, and eat. Virgil was not that hungry but forced himself to eat an apple at least. The others talked and didn't acknowledge Virgil. So he got up and left without anyone really noticing. He heads to his room and stays there for the rest of the morning.

Patton opens Virgil's door, and sit on his bed, so he looks up and stares at him. "hm?" Virgil says, and Patton smiles. 

"hey kiddo, umm..at the end of the month, there is a ball..for us, would you like to join?" Patton sits more comfortable on the bed, and Virgil thinks. Many thought go through his head, and decided. 

"...sure...but I won't stay long" he says, and Patton nod. "...so it is 25 days away?"

"yeap, maybe you can get to know the others. come on" Patton stands up holding his hand out to Virgil, and he takes it. 

For a month, he got to know them all, he hated Roman, him and Patton treated each other very fatherly, and son like, Logan and him spread knowledge, Picani tried to get to know Virgil, they all wanted to know them, well most of them. Soon the end of the month came, and Virgil had slowly fells in love with Roman, but hide it. It did hurt Virgil every time that Roman hurt him, with his words, but during time Roman stopped doing that.

The ball soon came, and Patton, plus Picani helped. They dressed Virgil in black and purple, he loved it, but was scared. Patton wore light blue, with the mix of grey. Picani wore pink, and light brown. Of course they wore their crowns, except Virgil. He never gotten his crown, neither did his brother Remy. The three of them head to the main halls, were the ball is. 

They get there, and Thomas stands and the enter palace, the people close their mouths, and listen to him. "Welcome to my home, to the Mind Palace. Please makes yourself at ease, and have fun for the night. The four kingdoms, I thank you for joining us. Prince Roman, Prince Logan, Prince Patton, Prince Picani." He stops to stare at Virgil. "enjoy your time with your family. Let the fun begin." He stays, and Virgil walks around the people, to Thomas who walks to him. 

"Thomas?" he says, Thomas sighs.

"yes, they are here.."

"...I am.."

"Anxiety, don't leave just yet" Romans puts his arm around him, which made him blush. "Enjoy the party"

"...I-I"

"Join me to dance" he holds his hand out, and Virgil blushes.

"S-sure" he grabs Roman's hand and Roman lead the way, and Roman put his hand on his waist, and held his hand, Virgil put his hand on Roman's shoulder, and held his hand. They started to dance. 

In the end, they were so close, Roman closed the gap, and kissed him. He kissed back, and they separate for air. "I love you, Anxiety"

"my name is Virgil" he whispers to him. "I love you to Roman~"Virgil leans his head on Roman's chest, and the sway. 

"heh, will you be mine?" Roman whispers, and Virgil thinks, he stops to look up at him. 

"sure-"

"Virgil?!" Queen Anxiety says, and the king looks. 

"Virgil, son?" that made Virgil turn. 

"Baby" the queen pulls Virgil away from Roman to hug him. "Your okay. My boy" she lets go to let him see that she is crying. 

"where is your brother?" The king asked, and he breaths heavily. "Virgil, answer!"

"Honny, Do not yell" the queen says. Thomas walks over. 

"...King Henry, Queen Julie, I think they should know"

"Virgil?" Roman questions, and Virgil steps away to fall into his arms. "breath" he whispers, and that is what he does. Virgil looks over his should to look at him. Patton runs over. 

"kiddo you okay?"

"Prince Virgil, what happened?" The king demanded, and it drawn to much attention, and Roman , holds Virgil's hand, and looks at Patton to nod. Then he took Virgil away. 

"VIRGIL" his mother yells.
