Montgomery de la Cruz-

Montgomery fixed his shirt and jeans before ringing the doorbell to a house he was familiar with. He waited patiently and smiled when he saw the black haired and blue eyed walk to his door.

"Uh, hi?" Clay questioned as he opened the glass door to step out.

"Core- Clay, hi. Can I talk to you for a minute?" Montgomery asked and tapped his fingers against his thighs.

"Sure," Clay replied back.

"Is Alice okay?" Monty asked as his face softened, "did I do something wrong?" he asked the boy.

"Well, for one, your little cafeteria stunt didn't help with the current situation," Clay said monotone and rolling his eyes at the boy, "but as far as I know- Alice is going through something and I think it's best if you talk to her yourself," Clay said with a fake smile and shutting his front door.

Montgomery drove to Alice's house. he wanted answers and he was going to demand them no matter what. he knocked on the door only to be greet with Alice.

"oh, Monty, hi!" she said and gripped onto the sweater covering her skinny figure, "what are you doing here?"

"can we talk?" Monty asked and followed the girl to her backyard when she nodded her head yes.

"what do you want to talk about?" Alice asked as she sat down on her patio table.

"the party," he said and watched as the girl tensed up.

"what about it?" she asked and leaned down in her chair.

"you and Bryce hooked up?" he questioned and saw the girls face saddened.

"something like that," she said with a shrug and looked away, she couldn't meet the boys eyes.

"Alice, if he hurt-"

"what do you want me to tell you, Monty?"

"i want you to tell me why you've been ignoring me for three weeks,"

"well for one, you called me a slut in the cafeteria last week," she sighed and looked away, "and two, you're hiding behind Bryce and i can't respect that," Alice said and began standing up, "i'm sorry but-"

"Alice- i want to help. please, talk to me," he said sincerely before the girl sat back down.

"he-" she said as her lip began to quiver, "he forced me down on his bed and he pulled my pants down- he," she began crying.

Monty wasn't sure if he should comfort the girl and keep his distance. he was nervous to do the wrong thing but he soon fought himself and stood up, walking over to the girl and grabbing ahold of her.

he held her tightly in his arms and let her cry out. he listened to her wrenched sobs.

"Chloe was asleep on the bed right next to it. she slept through the entire thing," she cried out again, "he didn't stop. i screamed and pleaded for him to stop but he kept pounding himself into me. he-" she said before pulling up her sleeves.

blue and black bruises were scattered around her arms and collarbones as she began showing the boy the marks Bryce imprinted on her. Monty slid his hand over one making the girl jump, "they still hurt," she said softly and pulled away.

"why didn't you tell me?"

"i couldn't,"

"why?" Montgomery asked again.

"you saw what happened to jessica when she complained- what would happen to me?"

"let me take care of it, okay?" montegomery said and let go of the girl, "i'll call you later, okay?"

Montgomery rushed back to his car and quickly sped down the street toward Bryce's house. He angrily opened the door and slammed it seeing Bryce and their friends sitting on his couch.

"what really happened saturday night?" Monty asked as he glared down at the boy, "i know you guys didn't just 'hook up'. obviously something happen and you hurt-"

"i didn't do anything wrong, monty. you'd seriously believe a sick twisted girl over your best friend? what kind of brother are you?" bryce said and walked away angrily.
