Montgomery de la Cruz-

Monday- this was the day Monty was looking forward too since the party. He wondered if Alice had thought about him as much as he thought about her the last two days.

"Brycey!" Monty yelled from across the hallway and quickly walking toward the boy, "have you seen Alice?" he asked him.

"No, I haven't," Bryce said with a smirk, "Saturday was fun, no?" Bryce asked the boy that stood before him.

"It was. I'm just kind of bummed I didn't really get the chance to hang out or talk to Alice, but maybe she found someone cooler to hang out with," Montgomery said stifling a laugh.

"Oh yeah, she was pretty wasted that night-"

"You were with her?"

"Oh yeah. We were together almost the entire night before she left. Chloe of course was drunk off of her ass," Bryce bragged as he shut his locker, "ready for the pep-rally Friday?"

"Did you guys like.. hook up?" Monty asked the blonde haired jock before walking beside him.

"I don't kiss and tell, de la Cruz," Bryce replied and coughed once he saw Chloe, "Chloe, baby!" Bryce yelled and kissed her lips.

Montgomery rolled his eyes and looked at Chloe, "have you seen Alice?" he asked her.

"Oh god, Monty. Give her a break- you love-sick psycho," Bryce exclaimed before kissing Chloe once again.

Chloe looked at Monty once the kiss was done and shook her head, "she isn't here today- didn't show up I guess," chloe said shrugging her shoulders.

"Didn't show up?" Monty asked dumbfounded.

"She didn't show up to practice and she wasn't in calc or government. Maybe she's sick?" Chloe responded, sounding concerned for her friend.

"Got it," Monty said and began walking toward the front doors of the school.

"Where are you going?" Bryce yelled from his spot in the hallway and held his hands up for Monty to see.

"Seeing if Alice is okay, I'll see you at practice after school," Montgomery shouted back and ran toward his black Jeep.

Montgomery drove carefully to the girls house. He remembered where it was from one party, many years ago, he went too. Almost like- a birthday party for the girl before middle school ended.

He knocked on the door and waited patiently to see Alice open the door, "Alice," he said softly.

"Oh, hi," Alice said looking down at her feet, "what are you doing here?" she asked the boy.

"Are you okay? You didn't show up for practice and the night of the pa-"

"I'm sick," Alice said with a small smile, "I promise. Nothing happened. I- just go back to school, okay? I'll call you later. I promise" she said before waving goodbye and closing her door.
