Chapter 3:David?!

(Sorry,I haven't updated in a while)

13:15pm

Cher's POV:

I just signed the adoption papers and the guy explained everything, I only heard half of what he was saying because I was too excited. I cant believe it!I have a new daughter, again not that I didn't have Chaz but he wasn't girly when he was a girl.I just hope Cassie likes living with me,she has been through alot as it seems and I don't even know the half of it.Oh wait!she still needs some clothes,I can ask her if she wants to go to the mall now.

"Earth to Cher,are you even listening?" The guy asked.

"Yes and no,I'm too excited! But its fine,if there is any problems or stuff I forgot Pauly can help or find out."

Cassie just sat there laughing as the man rolled his eyes,packed his suitcase and stood up"Okay Cher,I'm gonna go take care of the papers."

"Okay,goodbye."

"Bye" he replied and with that he left.

"So my new daughter,want to go shopping at the mall?"I asked as I sat next to her on the couch.She rested her head on my shoulder and said " Could be fun,my new mom."My heart warmed when I heard her calling me her new mom.I then shifted my head and kissed her forehead before standing up and saying "I guess we should get going then". After we got ready to leave I called my bodyguard David and he came to the living room.

" Okay Cassie,I haven't introduced you two yet,this is David my and now your bodyguard, he is going with us and please don't go or wander off without him,things might get a little crazy at the mall."

Cassie then nodded and looked at David.He stretched out an arm to greet her and said

"Nice to meet you Cassie"

"You too David" she replied.I laughed at how formal they looked and then we all left.

It was now about 16:30,we had already gotten everything she needed and we stopped at a donut stand,I handed her some money as I answered my phone.

"Hey Cher"

"Hey Stupid,what's up?"

"It's urgent,I'll explain later,can you maybe meet me at mom's house?"

"Sure,I'm on my way"I replied and turned to face Cassie and David once Gee hung up.

" I'm really sorry you guys but I have to go,it's urgent.Cassie if you want you can still stay here and browse,David will take you home"I said as I took a donut from her."Okay sure,see you later then?"She half said,half asked as she gave me a hug."Yes,see you later,have fun!"I replied leaving. When I got outside I called a cab and told the driver the adress of my mom's house.

Cassie's POV:

Cher just left all of a sudden,I hope nothing serious is going on.I'm glad we went and put the bags in the car before returning to browse,otherwise me and David would've been carrying ourselves dead right now...

"So Cassie,did you enjoy your day?" He asked as we walked past the escalators. I looked at him and I only now realized how handsome he looked.This was the first time we spoke to each other after the greeeting earlier."I did,I would ask you if you did but this is your job,plus you carried most of the bags and I don't think that's fun"I replied chuckling.He laughed with an amused expression on his face.

"As a matter of fact I did enjoy my day" he replied looking straight into my eyes and I smiled.

"So what do we do now?" I asked after a few moments of staring at each other in silence.
