How I Got Adopted By Cher

Chapter 7:

Cassie's POV:

It's been about a week since the party and the house took forever to clean.Yesterday David started learning me how to ride the Harley I got from Cher and Rob.It was amazing,although I almost killed us...

I was now in the kitchen,sitting at the table,keeping Cher company whilst she was cooking breakfast and David was making coffee.

"So what's the plan for today?" Cher asked as she started dishing up the food.

"I don't know mom,maybe we could go swim or just watch a bunch of old movies, what do you think?" I questioned

"Sounds good,come sit David,foods ready" She replied,taking a seat at the table

"Smells great,thanks!" He exclaimed as he placed our cups in front of us and then made a moaning sound as he stuffed his mouth with scrambled eggs making us laugh "Tastes even better!"

I was about to take a bite of the eggs when suddenly a wave of nausea hit me and I ran as quickly as possible to the bathroom.

I was about to empty my stomach when Cher came in and held my hair back.After I was done Cher handed me a tissue and I wiped my mouth,flushing the toilet as I stood up.

"You okay?" She asked,pulling me into a hug

"Yeah,probably just something I ate" I reassured her as I washed my hands and went back to the table.

"What happened?" David asked with a concerned look as I sipped on my coffee

"I puked,probably just something I ate" I answered to which he just nodded and I tried eating again.This time I got everything down except the tomato.

It was half past twelwe,we started watching a movie but Rob came and considering it's been almost a week since Cher last saw him I figured I should let them be,David suggested to keep me company and we went to the pool.

"You think I've gained some weight?" I asked him and he started looking me up and down before we climbed into the water

"I dunno,you look good to me..."He smirked and pulled me closer to him,kissing me on my forehead.

"I was being serious but okay,if you think I look good,it doesn't matter I guess" I smiled back,pecking his lips before swimming away and doing some laps.

"How I wish,that straps of yours would come loose again" he chuckled making me hysterical

"Oh my god,what has gotten into you?" I giggled,splashing him in the face

"Hey,you're gonna regret that!" He smirked splashing me back and before we knew it,everything around us was soaking wet,from the deck to the patio and even the grass.

"We are gonna be in a lot of trouble if she doesn't kill us!" I stated as we got out and started drying off.

The rest of the day went by smoothly,except for the fact that I got nauseous again,this has been a great day.

Cher's POV:

I had just woken up,the feeling of Rob's arms wrapped around me instantly relaxed me and I was just about to drift back off to sleep but then it happened... I heard vomit sound's coming from Cassie's room and I ran as fast as I could.To my surprise it was only her.David wasn't here. I shrugged the idea off and sat beside her,holding her hair,rubbing her back,trying to calm her down.After she got cleaned up I gave her a long tight hug when suddenly she burst into tears.

"Is there something wrong with me?why do I keep getting sick,I think I'm gaining weight too.Wh-what happens if I get too fat and David leaves me" She exclaimed, and started hyper ventilating

"Cassie listen to me,breathe, you're okay,I'm here for you,he won't leave you and you are not fat.Listen to be breathe in...out...in...out relax please, I don't want you to pass out" I reassured her,still holding her tightly against my body.

Finally after another couple of deep breaths she relaxed and started breathing normally.

"Thank you,I would've probably be passed out already if you weren't here for me" she replied and squeezed me again before taking a step back

"Cassie,you're scared the shit out of me,please tell me what's going on,I'm here for you,I'm not gonna judge or yell at you but I cannot help you if you don't tell me what's wrong,okay?" I stated and she nodded,letting out a deep sigh before answering
"I don't know what's going on to be honest and it scares me,even of none of you see it I can and I'm slowly gaining weight,besides that,one moment im fine and the next I'm puking my lungs out.What if I have some weird sort of disease and on top of all that David and I had a fight last night. He got mad because I kept asking him if he thought that I have gotten fat even after he told me he didn't know or mind."

I was quiet for a moment thinking about all the things she just explained to me and as far as I am concerned there is only one explanation...

"Cassie,when's the last time you had your period?" I broke the silence and she just looked at me with a puzzled expression

"I uh...um,I can't remember-wait,you don't think I'm..."she started but I cut her off. "Well,there's only one way to know for sure,Rob's going to a meeting later we can go buy a test then if you want,you know,without gaining any attention before we know the answer"

"Holy shit,I uh oh sorry for my language, this is some news,okay,I um,I think I'm gonna lay down for a couple minutes" she started rambling and I grabbed her by her shoulders.
"Hey,honey it's gonna be okay,no matter what,we'll get through this,okay" I then placed I kiss on her head and hugged her a final time before heading to the door
"Thanks mom" she smiled and I nodded.I then headed back towards my room.Thank god Robert was still fast asleep when I got back.

We had just gotten home and Cassie had already taken the test,it was laying face down on the bathroom sink,we were both anxiously waiting for the result and finally the waiting time was over...

"You ready?" I asked and she shook her head

"I'm to nervous, mom can you please look?"

I nodded and flipped it over
"Cassie you're..."

I'm really truly sorry I haven't updated in so long.I had school projects and I had to study for my year end exams which thank god are now finished.Since I'm on vacation now I'm gonna try and update more often.I'm also sorry for the boring and short chapter and for ending it like this but as they say "always leave them wanting more"😅😂I thank all of you who are still reading this I really appreciate it,and please leave votes or comments
