Chapter 8:Baby?

"Cassie you're..."

"What?"

"Pregnant..."

"Oh my god,this cant be happening,why!,I'm never gonna drink again"Cassie started rambling before she knelt to the floor and started crying hysterically.I then held her in my arms and stroked her hair.

"Cassie,you are okay,you're gonna get through this.I'm here for you and I'm not going anywhere.Everything is gonna be fine,just relax and breathe"I tried calming her down,and after her breathing become more steady she spoke,

"You're not upset?"She asked looking up at me with puffy eyes

"No,I'm not,I mean finally I'm gonna be a grandmother"I laughed,only getting a weak smile in return

"What if David leaves me or wants nothing to do with the baby?"She started crying again

"Okay first of all,that's never gonna happen and second of all if he tries something funny,I'll cut off his balls and make him eat it"I tried cheering her up even though I knew the possibility of him freaking out is more likely to happen.I know this must be hard on her but I'm so happy I finally get to be a grandmother.After she calmed down and we talked for a while we decided to watch a movie.Whilst she was sitting on the couch scrolling through the channels I headed to the kitchen to grab the tub of ice cream and two spoons...

Cassie's POV:

Cher really helped me calm down,I mean yeah,I'm only 16 but I think I'll me a good mom,we decided that we are gonna tell Rob and David tonight,once Rob got home,so now we were both just sitting in front of the TV,watching seven brides for seven brothers and eating a huge tub of ice cream. Cher also helped me understand that even if David leaves and wants nothing to do with us that she will always be here for me.I don't know what would've happened to me if she didn't pick me up that day,I would probably either be dead or living with some family who hates me,I'm really grateful she took me in,sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if she was my real mother.I guess I would've been more happy and I wouldn't have cried all the time.I still can't believe I got so lucky,I mean I know probably said this before but no one else can say they've been adopted by their Idol,but besides that she really cares about me and I really love her and my new family even if its only been about a month and a half...

After the movie ended we started making mac and cheese for dinner,the sun was starting to set and Rob would be home any minute now,David and I made up earlier so he was helping us get the food ready,I couldn't help but feel nervous around him.

Rob finally came home and we were now all sitting around the table eating in awkward silence Cher glanced and me and decided to speak first

"So Rob how was your day?"

"It was okay babe,what have you guys been doing all day?"

"Watching movies and eating Ice cream"

"Sounds fun,what about you David?"Rob asked 

"Nothing much,I was in the flat most of the day,and then I helped with the food"He replied,taking a sip of his cool drink,sheepishly looking down

Rob nodded and silence filled the room once again.

Once we finished eating me and Cher took the dishes back to the kitchen

"Are we still gonna tell them tonight?"

"Yeah,I guess"I sighed,scraping the leftovers into a container

"Tell us what exactly?"Rob asked as he and David entered the room

I looked at Cher and she nodded,I then took a deep breath and closed my eyes
