Chapter 6:Party time!

Cassie's POV:

I spotted Pauly and Gee but still no Cher,it then made me realise she is probably either hiding in the bathroom or in her bedroom. David checked the bathroom and I quickly darted to her room.

After a few moments I had finally gathered the courage too knock.

"Who is it?" I heard her yelling, I then popped my head through the door to look at her.She was sitting on the edge of her bed staring at herself in a mirror.

"Just me,may I come in" I asked and I closed the door behind me when I saw her nodding. I then walked to her bed and sat down gently beside her.

"Have you been crying" I questioned, giving her a soft hug.

"Yeah,but don't worry I'll be okay,are you okay?" She replied trying to change the subject.

"Why wouldn't I-,Oh you ment...Yeah I'm fine..." I answered sheepishly,looking down.

"Okay well I'm here if you want to talk about it." She responded, trying to look more happy.

"Did I do something wrong,why were you crying,was it Rob?I will beat his ass if he-" she quickly cut me off,chuckling softly.

"No,it's nobodies fault I'm just a little sad,that's all,I was just thinking of something that happened long ago" She answered trying to smile through the tears that were now silently streaming down her cheeks

"Well,I know I'm just as from today,some 16 year old idiot but I'll always be here to listen if you want to talk,just like you've been there for me." I stated,wiping some of her tears away with my hand.

"Thank you,we'll talk about this later, first tell me everything that happened earlier,while I'm putting on new makeup...

She stood up and started wiping her face clean before reapplying her makeup once I started talking.I told her everything, from how it started to how gentle he was and so on.Cher just laughed and said she was happy that he didn't hurt or force me.After she was done we hugged and went downstairs.

It was 18:45,Cher introduced me too a bunch of celebrities, such as Kathy Griffin,Meryl Streep,Meat Loaf, Elton John and Cyndi Lauper.Meanwhile Pauly and Gee were in the kitchen,both struggling to speak or stand because of how drunk they were.We were all dancing and laughing until a slow song came on.I saw Rob pulling Cher closer to him and smiled...

"May I have this dance?" David asked from behind me,making me jump at the sound of his voice.

"Sure,where were you so long?" I asked as we started dancing,swaying our hips to the music.My arms around his neck whilst he wrapped his around my waist.

"I've been trying to avoid Cher,I was scared she would go off on me but she texted me a few minutes ago,saying everything was okay between her and me." He replied making me laugh.
"Your scared of her" I giggled,resting my head on his shoulder.He just nodded and we continued dancing in silence,by now the entire buzz I was feeling from the booze I had earlier had faded and I decided if I didn't want a hangover in the morning I shouldn't start drinking again...

After about three more songs it was time too cut the cake,after eating,some of the guests said a few words and then I opened all my gifts.I got some perfume from Meryl,a scarf from Elton,a cute guitar from Meat Loaf,a black chocker with a beautiful diamond from Cyndi and just for the joke of it,a strap on from Kathy,Cher nearly passed out from laughing when she saw it.And last but not least,I got a harley davidson from Cher and Rob...

After I thanked everyone and they were all talked and danced out.All the people left and it was just us again.Cher carefully took Pauly and Gee to the spare rooms, giving each of them a bottle of water and some pain pills. David left to go and change his clothes and Rob went to go shower.

It was now just me and Cher in the living room.After a few moments we sat down and she started talking...

Cher's POV:

"Okay so, I'm assuming as a 'Cher fan' you've seen the interview I explained my first time in right?" I asked Cassie and she just nodded so I continued "Well that's not entirely how the story happened..." I could feel tears coming up again but I quickly blinked them away.

"Jeff wasn't really such a nice guy.The day it happened, he came to my house and personally asked my mom if I could go help him with something. She said yes and I had followed him,thinking he really just wanted to work on his car,considering he blew me off the day before,right after we were making out.Anyway,once we got to his house,he took me too his room and made me sit on the bed. I had noticed he locked the door when we entered and when I asked him what he was doing he made a 'shhh...' sound,he then took one of his ties and straddled me,stopping me from moving as he tied my hands to the bedframe.I tried kicking him but it was useless, he tied my legs down as well.I was wearing a dress that day so he didn't even have a struggle at all.I tried screaming but it didn't work either,he simply covered my mouth with one hand,and used the other to lift my dress and pull my underwear to the side.Then he pushed himself between my legs and started raping me.He had lowered his mouth and told me that he would kill everyone I knew if I told on him.Then he got off me,I punched him and ran home...

You are the first person I've ever told the real story too."I explained, finally letting the tears fall down my face.

Cassie pounced at me,embracing me in a tight,warm hug,letting me cry on her shoulder."I'm so sorry that happened to you,and that that slimy,sleazy son of a bitch got away with it.I'm glad you told me,sometimes letting this out helps let go of the pain,or well at least that was and still is my experience.And I'm sorry that what you walked in on earlier triggered your memories of Jeff again. " She replied after a few moments of silence. She then stood up and grabbed a box of tissues,taking a few out and handing them to me.I then thanked her,dried my eyes and blew my nose.

'I'm really glad I told her,it feels as if a weight that has been on my chest for nearly all my life has been lifted'I thought as we heard Rob coming down the stairs.He gave me a kiss and gave a curious glare at Cassie once he saw my puffy eyes.She then glanced back at me but didnt say anything about what I just told her,instead,she hugged both of us and walked over to David who just came back into the living room.

"Good night" Was all she said as she started walking upstairs to her bedroom with David following like a puppy behind her.

"You okay babe?"Rob asked once they were out of sight.

" Yeah,just a little tired and overworked that's all" I replied giving him a peck on the lips.

"I know that's not all that is bothering you,but I'll let it slide...for now" he smirked, making me remember how well he knew me.I just silently smiled at him,getting one in return.

"So,you just gonna let David sleep in the same room as Cassie...alone?" He asked after a few moments making me giggle.

"Well,we don't have to worry that he'll be taking advantage of her in her sleep,considering I walked in on them earlier" I chuckled, earning a shocked expression from him.

"What,they,they....really?,he, didn't hurt her did he?" Rob asked sounding really concerned.

"No,according to Cassie,she started it,apparently, he even asked if she was sure,she also said that he was gentle with her." I replied,resting my head on his chest,wrapping my arm around him.

"Okay well as long as he didn't force her I guess it's fine" He replied looking down at me.

"Do you know what I love?" I asked looking at him

"What?" He asked curiously.

"The fact that you are protective of Cassie and that I can have girl talk with you" I smirked making him laugh and shake his head.

"Whatever you say" he laughed before asking if we could go upstairs.I nodded and we both went to bed,cuddling together before drifting off to sleep...
