First Meeting

"Bye!" you shout while slamming the door close from your house.

That's just a habit.

You morning routine was like always fast. Showering, brushing your teeth, outfit and little bit make-up.

You don't eat because as a demon you don't need much food. You can easily survive without food for a whole month.

You text Chodae that you are on your way while leaving the house.

While walking, you are thinking of what 'news' she is gonna tell you. You have no idea but start walking fast so you can know soon.

You suddenly pass a black van that's parked almost in the middle of the street. For some reason you don't have a good feeling about this.

Then you notice a face behind the window. You can't see if it is a man or woman but one thing you see clearly... She/he is looking straight at you.

"Pff screw you." you say while you keep walking.

'just ignore it' you think by yourself.

After one minute, you see the school in front of you and there stands Chodae.

You walk to her while she notices you. A big smile appears on her face.

She looks as always beautiful. Short brown hair with brown eyes and a colorful outfit like always.

"God, I thought you would be late."

You give her a small hug while smiling. "To be honest, I won't care if I would be late."

"Wel, I do care! I need you here. Otherwise it will be boring." She smiled.

You look at the huge school in front of you.

'Damn' you think by yourself.

"Don't worry, it will be okay. Together we will survive." she gives you a warm smile.

You smile back at her but to be honest, you are not afraid of that. What if someone finds out? Then you will be in huge trouble.

You shake the thought out of your head. Don't stress.

"Hey, do you wanna know the news?" Chodae suddenly speaks.

You look at her with a curious face. "Of course. What news?"

She smirks while looking around.

"Well my brother is coming back from America." she says while smiling like a idiot.

"Euhm.. Cool." you say not knowing how to react.

"Ah c'mon Jiyun ! My brother is coming back! Seeing your family again after a long time is the best thing-" she suddenly stops talking.

She places her hand on her mouth while her eyes widen.

"I'm so sorry.." she whispers.

Yes.. That sucks. Family is a word you don't know and you never understood. Your grandparents are your family of course but you never had a feeling that you belong to them.. That you are actually from the 'Lee' family.

Chodae knows a lot about you. That you never knew your parents but of course not about the demon part.

You sigh but smile. "No don't worry. I'm happy that your brother is coming back."

She lowers her hand while smiling. "Well the best news still has to be said."

You look at her confused.

"He is coming to this school! Isn't that great?!"

"I'm happy for you Chodae." you smile at her.
