The Arrest

"So.. Does someone has information about those sudden attacks?"

Taehyung stands in front of the large table in there huge mansion.

"I looked through some documents but I couldn't find anything. Most of the demons are anonymous. That makes it difficult." Chodae tells her brother while clicking with her pen.

Taehyung sighs deeply while looking at the clock on the wall. 4PM..

Immediately after school, they went to the mansion for a meeting. As leader, Taehyung has to organize them.

Jimin stands up while giving Taehyung a folder. "I questioned some demons from the prisons. Some didn't say a word but others helped. When they heard it was about Jiyun they suddenly wanted to help. Very strange.."

Taehyung takes the folder with a friendly smile. "Thanks Jimin."

"We should look around in the town. The most demons are there." Another Monsterhunter propose.

Taehyung looks at him while thinking. "Smart idea Jungkook. But we should go in groups then. It can be dangerous."

"Why do you put so much effort into it?" Baekhyun asks while leaning back into his chair.

Taehyung turns angryly towards him. "And what do you mean by that?"

He chuckles soflty while standing up. "You hate her and she doesn't trust you at all. Why all the effort?"

"Because my family is good friends with the Lee family. I do this for my father and mother."

Again, Baekhyun chuckles. "We both know that you just made a lame excuse."

"We both also know that you are acting all nicely in from of Jiyun. Why all the effort when you are actually a jerk?" Taehyung disses back.

Before they could start to fight Chodae stands up. "We do this for Jiyun. End discussion. Let's go in town for research. In groups of course."

They all nod while getting ready.

Before Taehyung could walk out of the door, Chodae stops him. "You go to the kitchen with me. We need to talk."

Taehyung sigh while following his sister. When he enters the kitchen, he speaks up. "If it's about Jiyun, I don't wanna talk about it."

Chodae crosses her arms while look annoyed. "You want to help her so badly but making it up to her of talking about her makes you angry and aloof. What's happening Taehyung?"

He takes a glass water while he feels his heart beating fast. "I really don't want to talk about it. Especially not with my sister. Exactly, I can't talk about it.. I'm sorry."

Before he could drink from his glass, Chodae grabs it out of his hand. "Okay.. Tell me then where you were that night we found out about the death of Jiyun's grandmother."

"Do I really have to."

Chodae doesn't answer him but stares angrily at him. That says enough.

"Alright.. But don't tell the others." He sigh deeply once again before continuing. "I really needed some time alone."

She looks at him confused. "Why's that?"

"I-I needed to stay away from Jiyun for a while. It's just.. I mean.. I thought staying away from her would help me to forget that feeling, but it didn't."

While he whispers the last words, Chodae stares at him with sparkles in her eyes. "And what exactly do you mean?"

He looks away embarrassed. "I just look at her differently now for some reason.."
