One Favor

Totally in shock, you're staring at Jackson who's standing casually at the door.

"How did you get in here?" You say in disbelief and immediately prepare for an attack.

He chuckles only at your reaction and looks at his nails. "I have my ways. But I want to know how you are feeling? You almost died and saved your lover. How romantic." He glances at you all of a sudden.

"Get the f*ck out of our house!" Chodae shouts all of a sudden and takes her knife out of her belt.

But Jackson only sighs deeply. "Just calm the hell down. I'm here to talk."

Chodae scoffs. "To talk? Jesus man, hear yourself talking."

Jackson ignores her comment and looks at you. "You are so much powerful than you think you are. You survived death himself and saved you beloved boyfriend."

"I know what happend. Quit the bullsh*t and tell us what you want." You glare at him while making fists.

A small chuckle leaves his mouth. "Let me talk little girl." All of sudden he turns serious. "You are powerful. That's why I want you in my clan. You belong there, not here with a kind you are no longer part of."

A few months ago, you would have felt bad about his words. But now? Now you don't feel a thing. You are part demon, part monsterhunter. That's who you really are.

Before you could answer him back, he interrupts you. "But you saved my clan. If you didn't kill your brother Baekhyun, I wouldn't stand here right now. By killing your brother, you saved everyone."

You're speechless. Did he just thank you?

He sighs and looks at the ceiling. "That's why I own you one. You may ask me one thing to do. That's the way it goes with demons. Something you probably didn't know."

With widen eyes, you look at Chodae and Jimin. They are also looking shocked.

You turn back to Jackson. "Are you serious? I can ask you one favor?"

He nods while rubbing his temple. "Yes yes... Because I asked you to fight back and kill Baekhyun. One favor. Nothing more, nothing less."

The whole room went silence. You are thinking deeply because this will probably be the last time that a demon offers you a favor.

You look up into Jackson's eyes and take a step closer to him. "So I can-"

But you can't finish your sentence because you get harshly pulled backwards by your arm. Then you can only look at a muscular back of someone.

"What the f*ck are you doing here! If you laying one finger on Jiyun, I will kill you right here right now!!"

His deep loud voice rumbles across the room which makes you flinch a little.

"Calm down Taehyung. We only talked." You hear Jackson laughing.

You step in front of Taehyung, only to meet his furious eyes. "Hey, it's okay Tae. Really." You whisper and hold his arm.

In a blink of a second, his hands are on your cheeks. His eyes are now full of worry. "Are you sure? He didn't hurt you, did he?"

You stare into his eyes and can't help but fall even more in love. His protective behavior makes you feel special.

Shaking your head at his question, you peek his lips. "Calm down Tae."

He breaths deeply out and turn back to Jackson, his hand on your waist, holding you as close as possible. "Tell me, what do you want?"

"I explained to Jiyun that she may ask me one favor because she saved my clan from Baekhyun." He says on a very annoyed tone.

A smirk almost immediately grows on Taehyungs face. "A favor?"

"Not from you! And you won't tell Jiyun what to ask me! I know what you would ask." Jackson glares with his black eyes.

Taehyung scoffs and tighten his grib on your waist. "Keep those black eyes to yourself. You don't scare me."

Before they could start fighting even more, you came in between. "I know what favor to ask you."

Everyone in the room looks at you surprised.

"If you need some more time, you can Jiyun." Jimin tells you.

"Unfortunately your little friend is right. You can ask me the favor your whole lifetime darling."

Taehyung growls deeply. "Don't call her darling, you assh*le."

Secretly smiling at Taehyungs words, you step closer to Jackson. "I'm very sure what to ask you. I don't need more time. It's very simple."

Jackson nods and looks at you. "Well tell me then."

"You will never bother me again. Stop trying to get me in your clan or attack one of the monsterhunter clan. To make it short... You accept that I'm part of the Lee family and the monsterhunters." You say with all the confidence you have.

To be honest, you feel badass. You can transform, you are strong as a demon, fight as a monsterhunter and just told a demon to back off.

Yes, you're feeling good right now.

Jackson closes his eyes and inhales deeply.

The whole room goes silence while you're waiting for Jackson's reaction.

When he opens his eyes, they are whole black again. In reaction yours turn black too.

"You are more demon then monsterhunter Jiyun. The connection you have with me and my clan will always be here and can not be broken. Never."

You hear voices from Taehyung and Chodae but you are only focused on Jackson's eyes.

His face expression is dead serious. "But if that's the favor you are asking, I have to obey you. I will accept that you are part of the monsterhunters and will not bother you again."

Nodding your head slowly, you see Jackson is starting to fade away.

"Goodbye Jiyun. See you later." He gives you a small smile before dissappearing.

A sudden energy boost hits you which makes you gasp for air.

In one second, Taehyung holds you tight. "Are you okay?" His worries eyes are back again.

You don't answer and look at the door where Jackson's stood a few second ago.

"It's over. He's gone." You whisper with a smile.
