This was an assignment in class that I had to do, so I'd just want to publish it here and keep you all updated. :p

Hi. We are the Caoile family. Right now, we don't have Kanoa. He's off to school.

"Just saying his name makes me remember how he was growing up," my mother said with the biggest smile she has ever had.

"Kuya Noa? I miss him. I want him to play with us again," Kyle and Karl said while thinking of Kanoa.

"I don't care. Just make him come back so I don't have to do all of these chores. It's tiring," Keoni said while playing on his Nintendo Switch.

"The center of our family from age 1. We will miss him, I miss him," Kanoa's father said with a big sigh.

So seeing their family now, they are somewhat good and stable, just that without seeing Kanoa, the family has been imbalanced since Keoni just sits and plays games. He still does his work, but all he does is just really sit there and do nothing.

Well, let's try making up a story.

"I'll start it," my mother says as she starts pulling out a photo gallery.

Let's start on July 8th, 2002. I was an immigrant here in the U.S. and I had nowhere to go, but try and sustain myself. I want to do the best I can to stay in the states. Why did I want to stay? Well, this is because I cannot stay in the states if I do not marry someone of U.S. citizenship. Yeah. depressing, I know, but the clock was ticking. That's when I ran into my husband. Oh, how he was such a charm back then.

We dated for 2 years until the question finally got popped on March 30th, 2004, I was asked to get married. Oh how that was the greatest for me. We got married on Jun 15th, 2004. Not to go into details, but after that, I got pregnant. I found out in July.

"Honey look!!" I screamed with excitement. It was planned.

When 9 months came by, the day came. April 2, 2005. Fun fact, Kanoa took 12 hours for Kanoa to be born. Nightmare, but this is how it is to have your firstborn. There he was, Kanoa, laying in my arms as he slowly took in the breath of fresh air.

7 years after that was amazing.

A year and 8 months after Kanoa was born, Keoni was born and holy cow was those two inseparable. They didn't want to split nor do they want to leave each other.

2-3 years were emotional as both of the boys began to talk, walk, and become little boys.

5 years, I got two twin boys, Kyle and Karl. Holy cow was they so different. "Who's whos?" Kanoa would always ask in broken English.

By the time Kanoa was in the first grade, 7 years old, and was old enough to care for his brothers, he had to start becoming a worker of the house.

One day, while he was at school, I and my husband made a list of instructions left for Kanoa. They were simple and they could be achieved.

Task for Kanoa

Take a shower.

Vacuum the living room

Get Kyle and Karl cleaned to eat

Do homework

Brush your teeth

Sleep

2:26 struck and we went to go and retrieve everyone. Kanoa and Keoni at school and the twins at daycare. We all got home together and Kanoa. Kanoa saw the list and asked, "Mommy, what is this? Do I do this?"

"I want to do a competition, the first to complete the tasks wins," I said in a serious tone.

Kanoa's eyes lit in determination and he quickly grabbed the paper. I read as fast as he could and began to do what the first thing said shower. It took awhile for Kanoa to get out of the shower, but by the time he was able to get out and finish up what he has done.
