"You neeeeeeee-eeeee-eeed me!" I sang to the top of my lungs. It felt good being home alone and being able to talk as loud as I want and be as naked as I want without my babies Tee and Cori bothering me.

Speaking of the two, they left earlier in the day for quality time, as Tee say since me and him was spending the rest of the day together. He didn't want her to feel left out and I find that so beautiful.

He was such a big help with her and I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

After I finished my hair, I applied the cute pink gloss to my lips and headed downstairs to wait for them to come back.

From what I know, they went to the zoo and out for ice cream. I damn sure wasn't going to the zoo which is why I stayed here. Hopefully they'll be back soon because I'm hungry.

As I waited, I dialed Ms. Gloria's number. She's suppose to keep Cori for the rest of the day. I would've asked Jay but he was at work.

Just bringing his name up made me think about him. I could feel my heart aching as I thought about our past.

I really do wish we could have worked it out, but life goes on. I'm grateful for everything I went through with him. He made me a better person and I definitely made him better. We matured each other for the next person. I hate it had to be like that, but oh well.

I shook those thoughts of me and him away when I heard Ms. Gloria finally answer the call.

"Hey baby!" She greeted.

I smiled, "Hey mama, don't want to bother you. I'm just making sure if you were still keeping Cori?"

"Duh, I'm waiting. Her brothers and sisters over here too. I got a full house!"

"You sure?" I asked, "I don't want to add any extra stress on you. I know those kids be driving you crazy."

She laughed, "Girl, please. These my grandbabies! If anything, I love having them over. Especially Cori so bring her to me so she can eat!"

"Okay. I'm waiting on her and Tee to come back from wherever. Give me an hour."

"Aww," Gloria said, smiling through the phone, "So I'm guessing you two are doing okay?"

I nodded my head and smiled at myself. "We're doing good. Can't complain. Tee is a big help with her."

It took me awhile to open up to Tee and let him around Cori. Our first argument steamed from that situation. Even though we had been dating for months, I still wasn't comfortable with leaving him alone with my child.

Over time, it got better. I could trust him, and Jay could too so I eventually let Tee form a relationship with Cori.

"He is a big help. I'm happy for you baby," Mama Gloria said, "Anyways, I'll be waiting on Cori. Don't take too long. I want her to have some time with her siblings before they leave."
