Rolanda and Severus are watching after Ally for the afternoon since Albus and Minerva both had to attend a meeting with the ministry of magic.
They were having a picnic by the lake joining by Poppy and Alastor. Everything went well and everyone was having a good time until Ally began to cry. Rolanda took the girl onto her lap and tried to calm her but Ally would not stop crying.
"Ally what's wrong honey?" Ally held out her arms to Poppy who was sitting across from Rolanda. The mediwitch took the girl from Rolanda and soon Ally calmed down and put her right hand into her mouth.
"Well, seems like someone is teething and is running a fever," Poppy said while stroking the girl's hair.
"I'll send Albus a Patronus to in- "Severus began but was cut off by Poppy.
"No, it's not that bad Severus. No, need to give Minerva a heart attack. You know very well that Minerva is overprotective over her precious daughter here."
"Right you are."
Poppy stood up with Ally in her arms.
" "I'll bring her to bed. And maybe we should head inside the castle very soon." She said and walked towards the castle with Ally.
When she walked through the school corridor, she saw a short and round figure dressed all in pink from afar. As she came closer to the witch she stopped in tracks.
"What are you doing here?" Poppy glared at that woman.
"Nice to see you again Madam Pomfrey." Dolores Umbridge greeted the mediwitch with her head held high. "I'm here to do the yearly inspection at Hogwarts." She continued.
Poppy rolled her eyes, which Umbridge didn't saw. "Well, then. If you will excuse me, I have to bring this child to bed." She was about to walk away from Umbridge but was stopped again by her.
"Madam Pomfrey, who is this girl?"
"This is Ariana the headmaster's daughter. Don't you remember her?" Poppy answered.
"Ah of course. The girl without a mother." Umbridge said with a smirk on her lips.
Poppy felt her temper rising and breathed out
"How could you say something so heartless... and that to an innocent child..." With this, just Poppy stormed away.

The whole wizarding world knew that Dumbledore was married. They also knew that his wife Cassandra died after giving birth to Ally. But only the staff and the students knew about Minerva and Albus's relationship and her being Ally's adoptive mother. They didn't dare to gossip or say anything about the couple's relationship outside the school (even the Slytherin students, but that was because Severus treats to punish them if they ever think of harming or bullying his goddaughter). So, the people outside Hogwarts did not know much about Ally. Actually, the wizarding world knew nothing at all except who her parents are. Albus didn't want his daughter to grow up in the spotlight. He wishes to keep his family life private and for Ally to have a normal childhood.
