Ally is one year and two months old now. She loves to wander around her mother's classroom and watch the animals in the cage.
Minerva was grading third-years essays until she heard a knock at her classroom door.
"Come in"
"Hello Min, are you busy?"
Poppy asked as she came into the classroom. As soon as Ally saw her godmother she immediately walked to Poppy and gave her a big hug.
"Hello there. Wandering around your mother's classroom again, Ally cat?"
"She loves the animals in the cages."
"Well Min, I'm going to Hogsmeade care to come with me?"
"But I am not finished with the gradings yet."
"Come on Min, just take a short break and spend some time with your best friend, will you?"
"Okay fine. But first, I need to send an owl to Albus informing him that I will be taking Ally with us."

Ally walked around Hogsmeade with Minerva holding her right hand and Poppy her left hand. At some point, they both let go of Ally's hands so she can walk on her own. Ally is still a bit unsteady on her little legs but she is doing well despite her little age. She was so excited and wants to explore everything until she bumped into someone and fell on the floor. When both Minerva and Poppy heard the girl's cry both of them rushed to Ally to make sure everything was fine with her.
"It's okay little one." Poppy said and left Ally from the floor.
Minerva stroke her daughter's cheek and kissed her head.
"I apologize. I did not saw her- Minerva McGonagall?" The tall wizard with brown hair and brown eyes said disbelief. He turned his head to Poppy and said "Poppy Pomfrey?"
"David van Graaf," Both ladies said in unison.
"Long time no see," David said his attention back to Minerva.
"Same could be said to you." Poppy said.

David van Graaf came from a very rich wizarding family. He went to Hogwarts with Minerva, Pomona, Rolanda, and her boyfriend Severus, Poppy, and her husband Alastor. Back in school years, David was fond of Minerva but she, on the other hand, was not interested in him at all. She was hopelessly in love with a certain transfiguration teacher then. After they graduated from Hogwarts Minerva became an Auror and David joined the team later on. He still tried to win over Minerva's heart and even proposed to her a couple of times. But of course, it was unsuccessful. After Armando Dippet the headmaster at that time died, Albus Dumbledore became the new headmaster and that means Hogwarts needs a new transfiguration teacher. So, Minerva decided to become the new teacher at Hogwarts.
