Chloe made it clear to all the teachers and students she was planning a dance on Halloween night even though it was on a Monday and students would most likely be tired from the partying to even consider going to school.

I tried to convince her, to talk sense into her I should add, but she simply wouldn't agree it was a bad idea.

"Come on Lizzy stop being a spoil sport and help me convince your godfather," she begged.

It was Thursday just a couple more days to announced party and students and teacher were eager to know if it was true, Chloe want it to be so she pleaded and pleaded until finally that Thursday at the cafeteria I replied, "Fine... I'll do it!"

I saw everyone staring at me puzzled by my out burst but when Chloe hugged me they didn't take it seriously and just went on doing what they were doing before.

We went to our seats, everyone was there: Alex, Luke, Timothy, Lionel, Jon and Sarah. The table for us seemed to be getting more and more crowded but no one complaint, everyone was talking happily, I sat by Timothy and Alex immediately caught my attention, her eyes were analyzing any of my moments towards Timothy. I felt so uncomfortable.

"What?" I asked her.

"Nothing," she shrugged then sat up and glanced at Timothy then at me. "I thought you two were fighting."

"They were?"

"We were?"

Those were words from Luke and Timothy respectively, I shrugged, "I never said anything like that."

"Why were you so protective when I asked about Timothy then?"

"Honestly Alex you're a detective, can I just eat my lunch in peace and not be bombarded by questions."

She eyed me down and then relaxed with a shrugged, "Fair enough."

Luke chuckled, "She's just concern."

"You two don't need to be, Timothy and I –" I glanced at him when I said that, "– are great, we're just keeping our relationship silent just in case."

"Understood," Luke said and then nudged at Alex she frowned, "Fine then I guess I understand but we have to double date."

"Not happening." That came out of both Timothy and Luke's mouth and I laughed.

"Why not?" I asked.

Timothy sighed, "Only girls would want such things, us guys prefer to have our girlfriends to ourselves."

"Exactly what he said," Luke replied and wrapped his arm around Alex waist, her face brightened red when she blushed.

"Don't do that in public," she hissed.

"So you two do that in private then?" I joked. I saw her look down shyly and couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't be all protective Lizzy," Timothy said, his hand resting on my lap for no one to see, then he leaned in my ear, it tingled when he whispered, "You like to be touchy in private too."

"Okay!" Alex said pushing her tray away. Luke laughed and I blushed crazily. "No one wants to hear about you two making out in the dorms."

"What dorms?" Jon asked overhearing our conversation, "Better not be my dorm or my bed Wilbert or we'll fight."

"It's not ours though," Chloe said grinning at us.

And it went on like that, our conversations, so playful, cracking jokes, making each other embarrassed. I think I enjoyed it too much to the point I wished it can happen every lunch time.
