I didn't know how I managed to get to class but I did. I sat there in my morning class, my eyes burning from how much I cried and my nose feeling congested. I just stared at the white board hearing the words passing over me as my mind wandered to what happened last night.
He had left today.
Friday in the morning and I promised I would've said goodbye to him but even that I couldn't do. I woke up too late and I wasn't sure he had leave until I didn't see him in the hallways.
Then as the first period started he messaged me telling me he was leaving now and it was too late, I couldn't leave the class the teacher was already there and I felt awful.
While I was spaced out the teacher recommended we split up in pairs to do an exercise, I hadn't realized until Luke pulled a seat and sat besides my desk. I raised my head off my knuckle looking at him bewildered until he opened his book.
"What's wrong?" he asked me as he hit his pen against the book. I looked away, "Nothing."
"There you go again," he said. I turned back seeing his blank expression, his eyes staring at the work as he write. I admire how much he can multitask so well, "Always shoving the people that care about you away."
He met my eyes, the silence between us seeming so strange that I couldn't put my finger on it, "Luke... it's personal."
He furrowed his eyebrows, his blue eyes staring at me confused, "Is it your time...?"
I flinched back, "What? No!"
"Then what?"
I sighed, grabbing the pen out of his hand, he was being annoying continuously hitting it, I wrote down what was wrong and turned to book to him, he read it and I saw his expression darkened, he looked up at me his blue eyes definitely reflecting pity and sadness as he picked up my pen and write back underneath what I said.
No offense Elizabeth but Timothy and you were never right for each other, he was too busy in his own world while you had your own problems, my advice don't lose the friendship if he still want to be friends sure why not but lovers I don't know. You'll be okay soon I can always have Lionel gave you something to make you relax.
I smirked at the last part reaching for the necklace to hold it, he noticed it, the silver the owl as I let go of it, I caught him staring at it before looking back up at me.
"He gave you that?"
I nodded, "He knows I like owls they are my favorite birds."
"It resembles our school emblem," he noted and when I looked down I realized it did but I guess it was just a coincidence, I shrugged at it, "I guess it does." I looked back at him and saw his eyes hadn't leaved my necklace. I shifted uncomfortably waiting until he would say something but the bell rang before he could.
We both got up and packed our stuff, he leaved before I could.

"What! He did what!" Alex yelled, slamming her hand on the table, she was doing it again drawing attention to us at the table. I tried to lower my head from the embarrassment. "Alex you're making a scene," I hissed.
Same time Jon and Lionel joined us with curious looks on their faces. "What's going on?" Jon asked.
"Timothy broke up with Lizzy," Alex growled, "That asshole, he left this morning too gone Japan with his dad, I swear I'll kill him if I see him."
Jon glanced at me, I tried to keep a poker face but I wasn't sure if it was working, then he looked back up at Alex sighing heavily before nodding, "I know."
