The stage has frozen once again, everything outside the special spotlight has now frozen into a neutral tableau. The Prisoner realizes he is back where he was, in the spotlight where he was first gassed.
The Prisoner:
I'm free! I've escaped! I've escaped! I'm back home again!
He searches through his pockets, tapping through them. His eyes widen as he realizes he has just made a terrible error.
The paper! The information! I've left it back on the chair! The portal is still open! Should I? Should I go back into that terrible place again? If I go back in there I might not come back. It's either now, or never!
He throws himself back the other way, into the portal!
