Epilogue- Newt's Letter to Amelia

Dear my love,

   I knew this would happen ever since the Rat Man told me I wasn't immune. I couldn't tell you all the things I wanted to. I couldn't show you either.

   When you left me in the scorch, Minho had to drag me the rest of the way and I tried to get the bulbed creature to kill me. That wasn't the first time I wanted to kill myself, though. When I was put into the maze, I climbed halfway up the walls and jumped. Alby found me and brought me back to the maze.

    I'm actually writing this as I'm surrounded by a bunch of cranks in the Crank Palace. Soon, I'll be just like them and I'll forget about everything and everyone I knew. But I won't forget you, I promise that no matter how far past the gone I get, I'll remember you until Thomas puts a bullet in my head like I asked him to.

    Right now, I'm writing very horrible because the Flare has finally taken over. Thomas is waiting for me to write this and he just told me about the baby. Tell them they have the most amazing mother anyone could ever ask for and that their dad loves them with all his heart.

    Tell them that no matter what happens, I'll be by there side. They won't see nor hear me, but I'll be there. Because I love you and I love them. I may not be able to hold you or kiss you or love you in the body, but one day, we will be reunited, so don't be sad over me. Grow with everyone and find someone to help you raise our little one.

I'll love you forever and a day.
