It had been three weeks since our meeting, since the wind howled and the sky darkened with every passing day. I waited, waiting for the moment I'd see other dragons unlike myself and my friends. Fire crackled in the background of late morning, my scrolls and books layed out across the cool stone floor, ink and quills of different sizes and thicknesses spread out. I was working on a piece of art that would define how we viewed our world through a lense of time and beauty. I would often watch this moment full of hope and curiosity my mind open to suggestions that might just be stupid enough to work. Sunsets were always apart of my life, due to growing up without my mother, I would go and watch the sunset, it would bring back memories ones as if of a time where I wasn't hatched yet, where my father was happy. But now his life had changed, changed because I was here and she was gone, changed because he had a prophecy to for fill, changed because... life was a continuous loop that sometimes things like to happen in their own way, they would often float down a different stream, and end up creating a new part of your life.                          A letter suddenly shot through the window, scaring me i jumped slightly i quickly grabbed it eager to rip it open and read about all the wondrous things that were about to change my life. i stared at the piece of old crumpled piece of leaf woven by careful talons, three names written in cursive writing: Hurricane, Earthquake, and Artemis. I stared, my mind started wandering.

My wings beat fast to keep up with the two guards that came with my father and I, to inspect the new dragons upon our shore. We had just landed to see three dragons in lightning-proof chains with 1 other guard, "ahh...ah... oh Oblivion thank goodness your here, these dragons are the ones from the pro-" he was cut off by my now pushed-to-the-limit father,
"HOW DARE YOU CHAIN THEM UP!" He suddenly striked out the guard, slicing the chain and his hand off. The guard fell back in pain the two other guards instantly picked him up and flew off to the hospital, i turned to Oblivion who now was half way through a charge "Dad it's ok now, chill.... plus your scaring them" I pointed a talon to the trembling dragons that stood before us.                "I'm so sorry you had to witness that. Anyway, I am Oblivion the one who callef you two in, although I'm supposed to have two other dragons." My father sat back and watched them relax. "Oh Scarfire, pffffff she says it's lame and fake, and that she apparently has business to attend to!" A yellow and brown shaded dragon spoke, as a brown maroon red dragon emphasized the part 'business to attend to' i assumed that these two knew so called Scarfire. "And Artemis was with us but she got captured by skywings, we are really worried about her, cause we learnt she isn't big on fighting." The brown one said with a worried look. I turned to my father, he nodded "We will go save Artemis and get Scarfire." I replied back. "Yeah we will but who are you?"
"Oh, sorry where are my manners. I'm Stormbringer." I smiled, but they gasped.
