Chapter Seven : Lies and Deceit.

Saturday, 19th January.
1 Week later.
Wagner house.

(Nick's POV)

It was a Saturday morning and a bit cold if you'd ask me. We had no school today so David and I sat down for video games.

We were so engrossed in our video game that we didn't realize that Mom was calling us.

She was so annoyed by this that she turned the power off killing our game completely.

"Mom! I was this close to winning David " I whined.

"Don't care. Now that I have your attention a friend of your dads invited us over for dinner. So I expect both of you to put up your best behavior especially you David " She spoke, pointing at David.

"Why me. Why not Nick? " David asked.

"Because I don't whine unnecessary and fight a lot " I put in.

"Alright Mom but can we at least finish our game? " David asked, a bit angry.

With that mom went away and the power came back on.

We quickly picked up our consoles and continued our games.

I was already in the living room by the time Mom and Dad were done. I had turned on the TV and was watching a program.

"Dad did you hear that the Hunt enterprise have acquired the Rk tech " I asked, turning around to meet Mom fixing his tie for him.

"Really scoot for me " He replied.

"No no no no. I don't want to see any father son time now your dad has something big to do " Mom said, dragging him back to her.

"So what's so special about this dinner? " I asked.

"Your dad is meeting an old friend of his "

"I thought you guys said we where new to this town? " I asked.

They didn't have seem to have an answer to my question which got me thinking.

"Oh. David there you are  " Mom said, changing the topic.

David walked gallantly down the stairs with his head held high.

He wore a black tuxedo with matching black pants. He had finally agreed to my advice and discarded his glasses.

"Looking good bro " I complimented.

"I look ridiculous in this Mom and Nick is wearing the same thing as I'm " David lamented.

"It will be fine. Just be in your best behavior you know these means a lot to your Dad "

"We'll try " We both sighed.

"That's my baby boys "Mom replied holding both our cheeks.

"Mom I thought we talked about this " I said feeling a little embarrassed.

"Oh sorry " She apologized.

"Let's get going your dad would have been waiting outside for us " She added.

 Damian Mansion.

Dad pulled up at the front of Damian house and we walked out. We walked up to the door and rang the doorbell.

A man opened the door and greeted us.
"Welcome Mr and Mrs Shaw. Mr Damian has been eagerly awaiting your arrival " The Man told us.

He then lead us down the grand hallway to a dark room where he said Mr Damian would be waiting for us.

A sphere of Fire was the only source of light that illuminated the dark room.
Suddenly, the light came on and at the centre of the room, a man sitting on a Madeira chair had a bunch of keys in his hands which he repeatedly twirled between his fingers.

Beside him where three masked persons, a boy and two girl I deduced due to their body posture.

The more masculine one was stationed at his back and had a black suit on with a eye symbol at its centre enclosed in what seemed to be a triangle.

The feminine one on his right hand had a less bulkier red suit. This one had a fiery symbol which was also enclosed in a triangle like the earlier.

The one on his left probably a girl too had a blue suit with a water symbol at its center.

"Welcome back Trick Shot " The Man yelled, getting up from his chair.

"Deadeye, you old chum " Dad replied, hugging the advancing man.

"Rob, It's been almost two decades or so " The man said.

"Yeah. Leo you still are into the dark I can see this? " Dad asked.

"Yeah. Old habits die hard " He laughed.

David and I where still fazed by what we had seen. Dad lied to us. He didn't tell us about this, I thought.

"Invisi-Woman still looking good, Diana " He said, complementing what seemingly was Mom.

"Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here " David yelled.

"Before that meet my lovely children Alexander, Alexandra and Alexandria. The Damian triplets "

The masked figures let down their masks and their suits morphed into normal clothing.

"Alex, Alexa and Andria!! " David yelled out, at the red suited female.

"Nick why are you not surprised " Mom asked me.

"Already found out for about some weeks back " I answered simply.

"You know what since you children already know yourselves. Why don't you go talk while we finish our work here " Mom said, getting rid of us.
