Chapter Ten : The Rise Of The Supernaturals.

Sunday, 20th January.
(Nick's POV)

I woke up at about 6: 49 a bit earlier than usual today. I took a quick shower and carefully brushed my hair sideways.

Still fresh from last night's incident which was still bothering me a lot.

I quickly changed into a red T-shirt and a lavender trousers and wore a black baseball cap.

I opened the door and walked out through down the seemingly deserted pathway.

I knocked on David's door awaiting his response which never came.

I twisted open the door knob and barged into room to find it empty with no sign of David anywhere.

He must be downstairs, I thought.

I sauntered down the stairs to find him on the dinning table with Mom and Dad.

"So Nick have you made your decision? " David asked eagerly.

"Yes and it's still a No " I replied, stressing the O.

"Why Son? " Dad asked, dropping the newspaper article he was reading.

"It's just that I don't feel like I'm capable of doing it " I answered.

"I'm still going to be in " David spoke, munching on his PB&J sandwich.

"Alright since you are adamant about it then I'll join but on one condition " I started.

"What condition? " David questions.

"I get to pick my code name " I stated.

"Why not. I think I'll be Arrow " David heroically yelled.

"And call me Bloodshock! " I imitated.

"Good to hear that Son. Now to phone Leo up and tell him you're coming. " Dad put in.

Mr Leo was in his office when he got a call. He swiped his screen to the left and received the call.

“Hello Tricky ” He greeted.

“Good Afternoon Leo ” The person at the other end replied.

“To what do I owe this call. Hope it's good news ” Leo chuckled.

“A great one!! ”

"The kids have agreed to your offer and I'll be dropping them off at your place in a while " The person at the other hand replied.

"That's a great news indeed "

"I'll be waiting " Leo spoke, terminating the call.

David and I settled down for a quick game of Mutations : Dark Genesis.

The game was based off a book by the same name. It was a shooting role-playing game where I could either play-- Joe or Blue the two main characters where we navigate through an zombie apocalyptic world.
