Chapter Four : A Walk In The Woods.

After School.
(David's POV)

I was still standing by the stairs when I heard repeated knocks
on our door.

I decided not to attempt opening it and watched as Mom unlocked it.

I could see the a boy but couldn't deduce whether it was Nick or Vulko who I had been patiently waiting for.

My doubt was finally cleared when the boy spoke "Good Afternoon Ma. My name is Vulko and is David at home for we have a tour today " peeping his head in to check.

"Yeah. He's in his room I'll go and call him till then make your self at home " Mom replied.

With this I quickly darted to my room and locked the door from behind. I laid my ears on the door and could her loud steps as she walked towards my room.

She knocked on the door and I replied "Who's there "

"Its me your Mom "Your friend Vulko is here " She added.

With that clarified I quickly opened the door and mistakenly hit mum with the door.

"Sorry mom didn't see you there " I apologized.

I raced down the stairs and met Vulko sitting on our sofa "You still want that tour? " He spoke.

"Yeah why not but first let's get out of here " I said, grabbing my coat off the rack.

Vulko asked me whether I had a bike which I nodded in agreement.

It wasn't mine but was Nicholas's I decided to lie to impress vulko and since Nick wasn't home at that point of time I could get away with it 

"Am driving " Vulko shrieked, as he hopped in front and I followed behind.

He ignited the engine and quickly drove off.

"Where part first?. Fun or Dark part "Do I look like a girl. The dark part for sure " I answered astonished.

We stopped dead in our tracks when we reached a giant building.

The Ravenswood Mausoleum was what was written at the top. Crazy right a building which housed dead bodies I thought.

"Are you scared " Vulko asked, sighting a bit of fear in my eyes.

"No. Pfff me scared no " I lied.

"Are you sure cos you look scared "

"No I'm fine let's go in "I reassured.

After Vulko showed me a few dead bodies I finally couldn't take it and ran out.It was not that I was scared but dead bodies really freaked me out and also reminded me of an incident that happened some years back.

"So you were scared " Vulko laughed, as I was busy panting heavily.

"Haha let's go somewhere else " I replied.

"Where next "I asked.

"The Bloodytown "

"Bloody What? "I yelled.

"Bloodytown is the hideout for  most of Ravenswood mist ruthless, aggressive and criminal minded people "" It is controlled by a Don named Roadblock that say no now has ever seen his face and does who have don't live to tell "

"Are we going there " I quired, perplexed.

"Hell no!! It's too dangerous. We might get into serious trouble if we go there "

"What of that forest over there? " I asked, pointing to a forest right across the street.

"Oh that there's the Redwood " He spoke, in a scary tone.
