It's rather easy to plan out the beginning and end of a story but the middle is the hardest part for me to do. Luckily, I have another chapter here so...

"Ykuei, what are you doing here?!" (y/n) whisper hissed. The child hybrid sat in the middle of the room right on the floor and proudly stated, "You're going to help me." Although it was originally his plan to get Ykuei to trust him, (y/n) hadn't expected the kid to follow him and show himself so carelessly. "What?" (y/n) said, somewhat confused by Ykuei's proclamation. "You're going to help me. I don't know where else to go. Surely you know, right?" Ykuei stated with a nod.

"To be honest, I wouldn't even know where to start with helping you out but you can't stay here right now. How did you even get here anyway?" (y/n) said as he stared at the child hybrid. Ykuei tilted his head as if not understanding the question. "Is this not a safe place? You're here aren't you?" he stated. (Y/n) facepalmed not knowing how to answer Ykuei's childish inquiries. "Illipia help me out here," (y/n) said since he was used to having a second source of advice whenever he needed acess to it.

He was met by silence and another of Ykuei's questions. "Who's Illipia? You talked to someone else last time too..." he said. Despite his naivety, Ykuei could be sharp at times. "Listen, Ykuei. You can't stay here. My team is here. I told you last time that you could have been killed," (y/n) tried explaining. "I don't see any of them. What's the harm in staying in here where they can't see me?" Ykuei said with a clearly defiant intent. (Y/n) could practically see the mischief in the his eyes. A knock was suddenly heard at the door and Ykuei gave (y/n) a look of fear before vanishing right before his eyes. Ykuei may have no longer been visible but (y/n) knew he was still there.

With Ykuei no longer being a problem, (y/n) looked to the door with his power activated. "Yeah, what is it?" he said to whoever was on the other side of the door. He knew it wasn't a member of his team since he didn't recognize their soul. With all of Zhu's power available, he had began to gain new branched off abilities such as differentiating the souls of others. "Just open the door. I know he's in there with you. Unless you want to lie to me and keep the door closed. Then we'll have some problems. You have five minutes before Ara gets here and starts aaking questions so I suggest you make a decision," an unfamiliar voice said.

Ykuei suddenly reappeared and let out a hiss as his tail began to sway in aggitation. The hybrid took a few steps away from the door but was ready for a fight with his fangs bared as he crouched low to the ground on all fours. "You think I'm going to just open the door? Not a chance," (y/n) said through the door as he stood from his bed. Whoever was on the other side of that door must not have realized who they were messing with and (y/n) was already aggitated. He erupted into his full aura causing Ykuei's tail to fall flat in fear.

His intention was not only to intimidate whoever was on the other side of the door but he also meant to alarm his teammates. Every one of them and even normal people could feel the intensity of (y/n)'s aura at full power. All nine of tails swayed as he stalked closer to the door. "Anything you want to say or are you already gone?" (y/n) said knowing the stranger was still there frozen at his door. His soul was still idle and (y/n) could now sense his comrades rushing to his aid. The stranger finally dashed away, his soul quickly moving towards everyone else's.

With the nuisance out of the way, (y/n) let his power fade and looked back to Ykuei surprised at his new location. The demon elf hybrid was huddled in a corner with his tail curled around him as he sat there shaking in fear with tears in his eyes. "Did I scare you?" (y/n) asked not intending to smirk but it sort of just happened. Ykuei gave a slight nod but did no more than that. "Don't worry. I wasn't going to hurt you. I can't hude you anymore either. If I lie to my team thus time, it could count as a betrayal," (y/n) said although he directed his last statements toward himself.

(Y/n)'s door was suddenly opened and Ara was the first person he saw with Ain and Chung not far behind her. "Are you alright? You just scared the crap out of us. We thought Shi came back or something!" Ara blurted out as she barged in. Her eyes landed on Ykuei and she froze. Chung and Ain did as well when they saw him shaking in the corner. "Don't worry. He's harmless...I think. Whoever that was trying to threaten me just now was after him. Did you guys catch whoever that was?" (y/n) said. Ara and Ain shook their heads although Chung gave a detailed answer.

"Add, Raven, Rena, Lu, and Ciel went after him. Elsword is apologizing to the inn keeper about the commotion and we were sent to check on you. That's a demon," he said. (Y/n) nodded glancing at Ykuei who ignored the other three and kept his eyes focused on him. "Yes. Well, sort of. Anything other observations you'd like to make?" (y/n) said. "How did he get in here and why is he here? It looks like you scared the life out of him," Ara said looking back at (y/n) before taking a step towards Ykuei. He growled at her only temporarily looking at her before looking back at (y/n) keeping his cautious stare.

"Hey, are you guys okay? None of you returned to give any updates on the situation," Elesis said as she entered the room and also froze along with everyone else. It was somewhat entertaining to see his teammates freeze upon seeing Ykuei cowering in the corner. "Ykuei, we should head downstairs. It seems I have a lot of explaining to do," (y/n) muttered before turning to leave. Ykuei gave a slight nod before vanishing from sight startling Ara, Elesis, Ain, and Chung. Ykuei reappeared outside of the room waiting on (y/n) before doing anything more.

"You don't have to be so scared. They're more afraid of you than you are of them," (y/n) said as he passed Ykuei. He knew good and we'll that he was the cause for the child's fear but didn't say anything on the matter. His focus was now figuring out how to tell the El Search Party about Ykuei without giving them too many details regarding his mother. He feared that they would keep a closer eye on him if they knew his mother was in Lanox and a possible enemy. (Y/n) didn't mind their concern but he liked his privacy and free time and valued it very highly.
