Was it such a good idea for them to have gone to the Temple of Fire without the rest of the team? Even if it wasn't a good idea, there was no turning back. They were already heading there and being led by Ykuei who was invisible at the moment. Technically Elsword, Ara, and Chung were following (y/n) since he was the one visible. He made good use of his senses and followed Ykuei's trail to get them to the Temple of Fire. Ignia offered her assistance but Elsword had asked that she find the rest of the team and get them to meet up at the temple.

(Y/n) had been silently grateful for that desicion for he would much rather Ignia be as far away from him as possible so that he could focus on his task than having to worry about what she might do to him or his teammates. "Looks like we're almost there," Elsword pointed out as they neared what must have been the Temple of Fire. Ykuei made himself visable right near the entrance of the temple and waited for them. Although the temple seemed prefectly fine on the outside, (y/n) could tell that there was something far more sinister going on within.

"This is our last chance to back out of this mission and wait for the others. You guys sure we should do this?" Chung asked. He must have also felt the unmistakable feeling of danger that the temple gave off. "You ask that now? We're already here," (y/n) muttered. "Even if I'd asked earlier, you had already made up your mind," Chung said with a sigh. They met Ykuei at the entrance of the Temple of Fire, still unae to shake that oddd feeling that something was defunately wrong. "Ykuei, did Dryad tell you any details about what's going on here?" Elsword asked. Even he seemed hesitant to enter the temple.

"No. Dryad just told me to solve the problem," Ykuei answered before walking into the Temple seemingly unafraid but in reality, he was terrified. The child's boldness was surprising considering how easily he could be frightened. Everyone followed after him and Elsword took the lead asking for Ykuei to stay in the middle of the group so that he wasn't harmed. The eerie thing about it all was that there was nothing but silence and no one could be seen as far as they could tell but (y/n) sensed multiple presences that he couldn't pinpoint.

It greatly bothered him so much so that he blasted his full aura without hesitation. He startled his teammates who hadn't been warned and didn't know the reason for his sudden power-up. They all stopped so he did as well. "Did you see or sense anything? " Elsword asked. "I don't see anything but I keep picking up several presences nearby. It's a little agitating," (y/n) answered as he searched the area with his souls seeing eyes. The temple was rather large so he'd have to go further if he wanted to see anything more.

"(Y/n), this may seem strange but Eun says you should look d-" Ara was saying as she pointed downward but she didn't finish her statement. The floor beneath them suddenly began to crack and split. Everyone was quick to try moving away from the crumbling ground but none of them were fast enough to completely escape. The entire floor of the temple had caved in and they fell through it. Things would have been perfectly fine if it was just more rocks and floor that awaited them at the bottom but that was not the case.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened in shock as he saw the boiling lava below them. He had faced many degrees of heat in his life but never had he felt the intense heat of lava and he didn't want to either. The lava got terrifyingly close until suddenly it wasn't there and (y/n) was on a part of the temple floor that hadn't caved in. Despite that, his initial shock and adrenaline rush had not disappeared so his nerves were bad. Ykuei had a hand firmly on his arm and must have been the reason (y/n) hadn't come face to face with a pool of lava.

As soon as he was no longer disoriented, he went to the edge of the collapsed section of the floor in panic. Ara had been lucky enough to catch hold of a piece of the floor so (y/n) immediately pulled her back up. He didn't hesitate to look for Elsword and Chung, instantly spotting them both. Chung was lucky and had landed in an area where the floor floated in the lava. Elsword didn't seem as fortunate and it seemed that Chung had pulled him out of danger.

Despite having come in slight contact with the boiling hot liquid, Elsword seemed less harmed than (y/n) would have expected. The red head leaned against Chung for support and bore through whatever pain he was in. "Are you two alright?" Ara asked as (y/n) kept searching for enemies. He was confused. There were souls within the lava that he could clearly see and yet the bodies containing the souls were no where within sight. "We're okay. Elesis enchanted Elsword with high fire resistance so he isn't hurt to badly," Chung informed.

"It isn't safe down there. I can see souls but the enemy is invisible. We have to get you two back up here," (y/n) called down to them. He didn't want to remain silent in the matter. They needed to know that the danger was still present. "How? We're too far to pull them up here and none of us can touch that lava or we're in trouble," Ara said but as she spoke, Ykuei had already gone into action. He disappeared from sight only to reappear near Elsword and Chung floating above the lava. It was then that (y/n) began to see them.

Creatures of lava, likely demons, rose from the lava around the trio. Luckily, Ykuei didn't freak out too much and accomplished his mission by teleporting both Chung and Elsword to the original temple floor. (Y/n) had forgotten about this ability even after it had just been used to save him. "Those things must be what you saw. Are they all underneath this temple? Don't tell me we have to fight them," Chung said as he looked down at the increasing number of demons.

"We need to figure out who's behind this. They're just foot soldiers that are doing someone else's bidding. If we stay here, more will show up so I think we should move ahead with caution," Elsword said. "You say that like you have an ulterior motive. You noticed something?" (y/n) pointed out. Elsword nodded. "Something is wrong here in the temple but Ignia isn't here and hasn't done anything about it. Whoever is here is good at working without being caught. We need to find them before they escape," Elsword said as Chung continued to help him stand.

"What if this is something that we can't handle by ourselves? We just got here and you're already hurt. Eun even advises that we wait for our teammates," Ara said. Elsword seemed like his mind was made up though. "Hey, guys, where did Ykuei go?" Chung suddenly asked. He had just been with them moments earlier. There was no way he could have disappeared that quickly. "Ykuei, this isn't funny. Where did you disappear too?" (y/n) called with a little irritation evident in his voice. He felt a tug at the hem of his shirt.

"They're here. Those two. They're here," Ykuei's voice could be heard saying despite him not being visible. Something was definately wrong if Ykuei had decided to hide himself so suddenly. "Guys, keep your guard up. Someone is nearby," (y/n) said. No sooner than he finished speaking did the entrance to the temple explode having been attacked by an unknown source. The door crumbled, trapping them in and forcing them to find another way out. "You've got to be kidding me," (y/n) thought.
