Ami had gone back to the hotel they were staying at while the rest of the cast was still at the theatre. It gave her some time to explain her whole issue of guilt leaving Rachel behind, feeling home sick, the whole deal. Jacque and Stephanie listened and comforted to the best of their ability before they broke down with the advice. They had FaceTimed once Ami got back to the hotel and had talked for nearly half an hour already. Jacque was the first to speak up, "I'm sorry, hon, but if you're feeling guilty and home sick the only way to fix it is to return to New York." Stephanie nodded, "There really is no cure to home sickness and your guilt other than going back home. I'm sure Rachel misses you but do know your guilt could be pointless. She is the one who submitted your audition tape in the first place. This could've been something she wanted for you." Ami held back some of her tears, "I-I just... I don't know if she's really okay with me being here in the long run. And what about Josh? I can't leave him behind either..."
Stephanie sighed and smiled through the screen at the sad face of her friend, "Honey, if this boy you speak of truly loves you then he'll accept the fact you're leaving and won't force you to stay and do something your uncomfortable or not happy doing. It's how love works, they've got to accept you no matter what." Jacque agreed with Steph, "If he gets upset or tries to force you to stay then he's not good for you. If he shows red flags drop him while you still can." Ami pursed her lips, picking at the skin around her fingernails, her eyes watering and her vision blurring. Stephanie and Jacque knew she was going to need time to think it over so they both decided to say their goodbyes, Jacque not leaving without dropping his signature joking "Don't do anything stupid" which made Ami smile a bit. It quickly melted though as she still felt the increasing weight on her shoulders. Does she leave? Does she stay? Does she break up with Josh, cut everything off again, and continue with her life and hope nobody from the cast tries to track her down? She didn't know what to do at this point.
After thinking over and over and overthinking everything that was going on in her life right now, she heard the click of the door and Josh came in, "Hey, Ames, how're you doing?" She smiled weakly as he came in carrying a white rose, one of her favourite flowers. He sat next to her on the bed, giving her a tight hug. She took the rose and gingerly set it on the night stand beside the bed. She turned to Josh, who wrapped his arms around her and held her close, burying his face in the crook of her neck. It was moments like these she knew she truly did love Josh with all of her heart. It was moments like this that made her realise how much she really missed him when he wasn't by her side. She was head over heels for this boy and it would kill her if she ever left him. She decided that this was where she wanted to stay for forever. She never wanted these moments to end because she knew she'd never find another Josh Burrage in her life. He was her life. And he knew that she was his.
Just a small chapter but I promise it's gunna further the story line because I'm planning a little more for Ami and Josh >:)
Anywho, have a good day my dudes and dudettes.
