I heard a noise coming from up above us.
Looking up to where the hole is, Rookery appeared pointing a small gun at us.
"Run!!" Gregory shouted with Ivy in tow.
Rudolph grabbed my hand and we took off running behind a wall in one of the corridors.
The whole main room flared up into sparks. "Now that is what I call fireworks." I said in awe.
When the fireworks lit there last, I turned and faced Rudolph to see him already staring at me.
My blue eyes melting in his.
Rudolph smiled and brushed a strand of my lock and tucked it behind my ear, cupping my cheek in his hand. Tracing my bruised eye with the other. I placed mine over his. Slipping my eyes closed. Feeling the small tingly feeling going up my arm. It's feels like the ocean waves hitting against the rocks and the force of gravity is drawing me in for more.
I looked up at Rudolph and he didn't shocked at all, it's like he feels it to.
His skin is really smooth against mine. Its soft, smooth and even despite his cool temperature..it feels nice and calming. Just right.
I stepped away from him his expressions changing from sad to confuse worry to sad again. "Kathryn what is it? Did I do something wrong?"
"I can't I'm sorry." I said taking another step back.
Hurt, he sigh still wanting know what's wrong. His eyes filled with sadness. My heart ached seeing him this way.
But I can't get attached.
I just can't.
Because I'm afraid if I get reeled in then that person will end up hurt.
It's for the best.
I walked back with Rudolph trudging behind me to the main room of the hollow and let me tell you this. Mr. Sackville-bagg was not a happy camper.
"What you three did was foolish." said Mr. Sackville-Bagg as he stalked over to us.
