morning snuggles

ring ring ring
The loud noise suddenly erupted, disturbing the peaceful sleep of two boys.
One of them let out a frustrated groan as he hit the device's head several times in hope to make it go silent.
"Dammit" he muttered, turning his head to the other side just to see a pair of brown eyes curiously staring at him.
"Good Morning" was the greeting that came out of Hinata's mouth, a small smile on his lips. "Yeah, morning" Kageyama answered back.
His voice was deeper than usual and quite raspy. A (greatly loved and appreciated) morning voice.
The omega found it alluring. It sounded so deep and also pleasant to listen to. "Tobioo~" He purred contently and wrapped his arms around his mate's body.
"I havt'a get up"

"Nooo" Hinata immediately protested.

"But I have practice at eight and we have to do our morning jog" he answered in an almost monotone tone.

"Stay" he simply whined, shaking the alpha a little. He continued by nuzzling his face into his neck, scent marking him in the process.
Kageyama's heart throbbed a bit. His omega was too cute.
Hinata was pregnant in his sixth month.
And he didn't attend volleyball practices with the team anymore. The risk is too high. Though, he still came along to watch the team practicing.

Kageyama carefully took his face in both of his hands and looked into his mate's eyes.
He didn't have an obvious intention behind his action but he liked to smush Hinata's cheeks against each other. The boy hadn't outgrown all of his baby fat yet.
He pressed a kiss onto his smushed lips, well another one too and maybe also another one just to be sure.
Hinata seemed too delighted for this time of the day. His smile became radiant. He looked just like the bright sun itself.

"Speak some more, Tobio" he demanded. "No, I have get up now". "Ohh, your morning voice is stronger than usual". Kageyama rolled his eyes slightly.
He rolled over yet again, making efforts to leave the small bed.
Hinata managed to make his grasp even tighter, hindering him from leaving.
The omega had become a lot calmer (and clingier) over the last months. He preferred to sleep longer in the mornings and not stress himself too much.

"Noo, Tobio. Please stay just another minute" he begged.

The thing was, Kageyama was clingy too.
Cuddling with his mate was one of his favorite things to do. Especially now that he was pregnant. It made him feel loved and safe. And Hinata was too cute to resist cuddling everyday.

The alpha let out a huff and then stared at the big eyes in front of him. He pondered for a few seconds, evaluating the time he needed to get done. All the while, Hinata had smushed his face into his biceps and also pressed a few soft kisses along his collar line. Kageyama would definitely much rather stay. But he had responsibilities.
Still, another minute wouldn't hurt anyone, right?

He fell back into the embrace and returned it slightly. "You shouldn't have stayed up for so long" he muttered into his neck, also beginning to scent mark him after a few seconds.
"Hmm" he barely mumbled in response, rather focusing on the feeling of getting scent marked. They felt relaxed, scent marking would allow hormones to be released that could calm down the mind and body.

Suddenly, Hinata opened his mouth wide open to let out a loud yawn. The voice coming out of his mouth was soft and high-pitched. Kageyama's heart jumped in his chest. He squeezed him harder and also (tried to) kiss him at the end of the yawn. Hinata quickly pushed him away.
"Ahh Tobio!" the omega yelled in panic as he couldn't finish the yawn. "It's trapped in my throat now" he complained with an angry glare.
"What"

The omega yawned once again and Kageyama looked at him slightly confused.
What a dumbass.

Then he happily let out a huffing sound and closed his eyes while snuggling closer again.
The alpha watched him for a moment.
"Oi, don't fall asleep again"

"Shut up, Tobi" he said barely audible.

"No, I mean it. We're going jogging in the next ten minutes".
The doctor had told them it would be good to continue doing some of the exercising routine.
And jogging was relatively safe for pregnant people. So the two still went out every morning.
Even if Kageyama still took another jog in the evening and the pacing in the morning was more calm.

"Shouyou" he shook his body, resulting in brown eyes lazily looking up at him again.
"I said one more minute"

"The minute has already passed"

"Mhh fine" he mumbled.

"Put on your practice clothing. Come on, jogging time" the alpha said as he let Hinata stand on the ground. The omega followed the order begrudgingly, pulling off his sweatpants for his jogging pants. He also tried to pull his shirt off but failing in the process. He got stuck. He wanted pull his arm out the wrong way. Thus he aggressively fumbled around, making it only worse.

"Help me, please" he called out.

Kageyama quickly helped his mate and also grabbed the other shirt from the wardrobe and pulled it over his head, the omega complied by having his arms up in the air.

"There you go,... dumbass"
Hinata grinned up at him.

A few minutes later, they were ready to go.
They walked out of their apartment to stare up at the big sun, slowly and peacefully rising in front of them.
It was going to be a good day.
