Lie in the dark

Just can't sleep

Feel a lingering touch

Of the wind on my cheek

The night outside my window

Still and silent as my heart

Waiting on the edge

Anticipating

You know i always wonder if i'm waiting for something

Nothing's gonna happen dear

In the dead of the night

When the dead men dance in the moonlight

Nothing's gonna happen dear

In the darkness outside

It's nothing to be afraid of

The dead of night

When the moon came out and skeletons rose

I rode a lonely stormcloud

To find my way home

I made it to safety but the others didn't

The tiny children with no beds

Stranger danger is what they teach

But the closest friend could have steely teeth

Nothing's gonna happen dear

In the dead of night

When the skeletons dance in the moonlight

Nothing's gonna happen dear

In the darkness outside

It's nothing to be afraid of

The dead of night

Well the mindless children bleed in the stainless basin

Cold clammy hands reach to greet them

In a flash goes the innocence of a seven year old girl

Blink your eyes and goes the life of an eight year old boy

Don't cha underestimate a fucking thing

The dead men dance and the skeletons grin

Don't cha underestimate a goddamned thing

The knife blade's sharp and sinks deep into skin

There's nothing out there

No need to be scared

Nothing is happening

Nothing will happen

There's no dead men dancing tonight, no.

Hahahaha!
