"So you did it once again.. lemme guess and calum will be sent here soon too huh?" I looked up at our vice principal, and smirked cause I know calum will probably be here soon. "Ahh, mr.hood we've been expecting you" mr.Schults said as calum walked into the office, we looked at each other and smiled. My face went red from trying not to laugh, calum came and sat down beside me. "Ugh, what names did you use this time" me and calum looked at each other and started laughing, mr.schults was pretty annoyed with us doing this every time we have a sub. But he's gotten use to it so he started asking us what names we used. We wrote down the names for him to read and he just chuckled, keeping his smile on his face. "That's terrible you two" he shook his head and looked up at us, he looked confused for a bit and waved his arm for someone to come into his office. Me and calum turned around to see Luke? His face was red with embarrassment and he came and sat down with us, handing the vice principal a paper. He started laughing and looked at us again. Me and calum were confused, we looked at Luke who was now just sitting there playing with his fingers. "I used number 6" he said not looking at us, my face went bright red at this. The vice principal got up and told us to stay put. He went out of his office and calum and Luke started talking right away. I tried to lean back because I was in the middle of them, Luke then looked at me and smiled.. he did what?!? The luke Hemmings smiled at me?!? I looked down at my feet trying to cover up the fact that I was fangirling inside and blushing like crazy. The vice principal came back in and told us we had detention after school and to get back to class. We all huffed at the fact we have to stay at school for an extra hour. "You know after you left mrs.founder started laughing at what you said" luke said randomly as we walked down the hall.. all three of us. I looked at him and back at calum, calum just smiled at me. "Oh really?" I asked shyness dripping from my voice, we got to our classroom and walked in and everyone turned their heads to look at us. "Mikeoochie is back" Ashton said from across the room making everyone laugh again, the teacher had a grin on her face trying to not laugh. "Please sit down you three, no more fake names also" she said gaining composure, and turning to the chalk board writing out notes for us to write down. Me and calum went to our desks with Luke following us. "I'm going to sit here for now on, is that ok guys?" He asked looking mainly at me, I nodded my head and looked at calum. "Sure, luke" he said turning his head to the front now listening to the teacher and writing down notes.
Time skip~
It's was 3:15 and the bell rang for everyone to pack up and go home except for anyone who has detention... I grabbed my binder walking out of the classroom and heading to my locker. "Hey wait up nova" I heard calum call from behind me, I looked towards the boy smiling and seeing Luke following behind him. I got nervous and closed my locker facing them, swinging my backpack over my shoulder to put it on. "Detention here we come!" Calum said putting his arms around me and Luke, we happened to glance at each other at the same time. Making me look the other way, I bit my lip thinking about how the weekend will go. "Hey nova!" I heard a girl call me as we walked into the detention room. "Hey guys" I smiled and walked to a group of people that were already in detention. My friend Riley and her boyfriend Jake and their friends. Calum and Luke saw Michael in detention so they went to go sit with him. A teacher walked into the classroom telling us to find a seat and read or do work. I went to go sit down in the closest desk by me, and calum came and sat beside me. "Did you happen to get all the notes today
?" He asked me taking out his binder. "Uh, yeah I did why?" I asked looking at his work. "Calum, there's wet stains on your paper did you ... fall asleep?" I looked at him and he just turned a red shade. "I was tired ok! And plus history is boring" He whined I grabbed my work out handing it to him. "Well calpal get to work." I smiled and brought a book out for myself to read. "Your still not finished that book?" Calum asked me as he was looking back and forth at his work and mine copying it. "Nope, almost done tho" I smiled looking at the cover, turning it back around I began to read.
She looked at her best friend hoping he'd see the hurt in her eyes, but he never did. "Harry, I should go I don't want my sister worrying about me" she spoke quietly but he still heard her voice, he grabbed her arm pulling her to him giving her a huge hug. She smiled into the hug and melted into his arms, taking in all the cologne he was wearing. "Well I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked her, she smiled and nodded her head assuring they will meet again. "Well drive safe." He called out to her as she walked away from the man. She unlocked her car jumping in and starting the engine. She pulled out of the parking spot she was in and drove down the road, everything must of been to Quite for her because she turned on the radio. In the brief seconds of looking down to turn up the radio a hard impact hit the vehicle sending her and the vehicle flying off the road, the other vehicle came to a stop and she could hear a car door open and footsteps running towards her car. She was coughing blood and reached her hand out at the person who was watching her, all's she could hear was a whimper of the person. "I'm so sorry" she cried and ran away speeding off in her car. It was midnight so there was barely any vehicles driving around at this time. She coughed again a tear slipped down her cheek.. "nova, it's time to go" Calum said waving his hands in front of my face to get my attention. A tear slipped down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away, calum saw this so he grabbed the book from me and put it in my bag. "Why do you read that if it makes you cry?" He said upset you were crying, I laughed at him. "It's just a book calum, the main character might have died, I'm not sure gotta read some more" I said pulling out my phone seeing I had messages from my parents and an unknown number. Calum grabbed papers from his bag and handed me my work. "Thanks again for the notes, I'm gunna head home now I'll see you tomorrow?" He said pulling me into a hug, I smiled smelling his cologne. Remembering my book I decided not to say the next thing, thinking something bad would happen to calum. "Yeah just text me" I said waving at him now walking out the side doors of the school, he had to go to the other side of the school. "K be safe!" He said running down the hallway, you just had too Hey calum. I shook my head and continued to walk out the doors seeing Luke standing by the gate. I shallowed the lump in my throat walking towards him, not making any eye contact..
"Uh Hey nova, mind if we walk together?" He asked looking hopeful
Luke hemmings wants to walk home with me?!? I know we live beside each other but ever since we got into high school he's been ignoring me, like we were never friends to begin with...
