Just Friends (Sketch x Reader)

Friends?

Skylee's POV

I woke up this morning feeling really tired. I was laying on Sketch. He is so cute when he's asleep. I decided to make a half decent breakfast. I made bacon, eggs, pancakes and toast. Halfway through making the bacon, Elijah must have smelled it and woke up. He walked into the kitchen with his eyes half closed. Without even saying a word to me, he grabs his food and sits back on the couch.
" Umm... good morning?" I say reluctantly. Elijah suddenly snaps out of it and looks alert.
"Wassup." he said. I gave him a 'what's wrong with you?' type of look.

Elijah's POV

She's on to me. I had a dream last night that she kissed me the night before. We're just friends Elijah, we're just friends. I don't even know if she considers us friends! I just met her!  She's looking at me. I can't stop staring she's so cute oh my god i'm dying. (that's enough of that)

Skylee's POV

He's staring at me weird.
"Is there something on my face?" I say jokingly. He comes out of whatever trance he's in and is suddenly alert again. He's so adorable sometimes. No Skylee. No bad thoughts. He's just a friend right now. He broke our awkward silence.
"Sooo... friends?" Those words came out as if he could read my mind.
"That would be nice." my heart kind of sank. I liked him. Who am i kidding, I like him a lot.
"I have an idea..." Elijah began.
"I know you are going through a lot right now with your parents..." I flinched at the word parents.
"Do you think I could move in with you? As roommates?" My heart jumped out through my mouth and I immediately said yes.
"Excited much?" he said sarcastically.
"When should I move in?" he said.
"I think it would be best if you moved in after my parents stuff is outta here but you could hang out here for a few days." I said.
"Cool beans" he giggled. I giggled too. I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone and texted my best friend, Brooklin. She knew I had a huge crush on Elijah and she had a huge crush on Denis.

M- You will never guess what just happened
B- What is it now?
M- I
M- Met
M- SKETCH
B- No you didn't
M- I told him to pose but he made a weird face instead

End of Conversation

Elijah calls my name from the bottom of the stairs. I walk down and he looked like he just got off the phone.
"Hey uhh... the pals are going to visit this weekend and uhh... is that ok?" he seemed uncomfortable.
"Of course they can! The more people here the better! I need the company." I gave him puppy eyes. He smirked and texted someone. I sprinted back up the stairs, falling three times during the process. I had to tell Brooklin.
