Elijah's POV

I was staring into Skylee's eyes and when the words slipped out it hit her like a bullet.
"I love you" I said. She stared at me for a second and ran out, running passed Brooklin and Denis's confession session. I chase after her yelling I'm sorry. She ran out the door with her car keys and I tried to follow. She started driving away and I ran up to my car and jumped in. I started following her and to my horror... I saw...

Denis's POV

I look at Brooklin. She has really big eyes. I can't stop staring into the infinite abyss that kept her stuck in my brain. She was staring at me as well. I didn't even notice that Skylee and Elijah had already ran out the door. What did he do?

Elijah's POV

I'm trying to catch up with her and to my horror... I saw... somebody walk up to her car because she was at a stop light. They yanked open the door and threw her out. I jumped out of my car and they started beating the crap out of her. They took all of her stuff and threw her in the road. The light turned green and that wasn't good. A car started coming right for her and they were on their phone so they didn't see her. I ran as fast I could to save her. I tackled her and rolled her to the other side of the road.

She looked at me and dug her face into my sweatshirt. I felt my shoulder get all wet and I knew she was crying. I quickly got my phone out and texted Brooklin and Denis to come right now.

Denis's POV

I got a text from Elijah. He was practically yelling at me to come get them. We find where they said they were and Elijah and Skylee aren't there. I look over and Elijah is carrying Skylee over his shoulder and running towards the forest. They were running from something. I turn around and standing there... Is none other than Ethan Best himself.
