Skylee's POV
I saw Brooklin and Denis running towards me. I instantly felt relieved. Skoopy looks up and takes off running with me after throwing me over his shoulder. I look to see who it is a dude that looks just like Lije. I am so confused right now. Denis, being the tall person he is, sprints towards us without even thinking and grabs Elijah's arm.
"What the hell are you doing??" Denis yells at Elijah.
"Put her down you freaking idiot" Denis said. I giggled.
"Who was that?" I ask.
"That is none other than my brother" Elijah says as his brother comes running towards us.
"Why are you running?" Elijah's brother says.
"Ethan, Skylee. Skylee, Ethan" Elijah says. I shake Ethan's hand while still over Elijah's shoulder.
"Can you put me down now?" I say.
Brooklin's POV
Denis and Elijah are talking to Ethan and Skylee and since I'm short I'm not that fast. I'm still by the road patiently waiting for Denis to come back down to continue our conversation. He finally walks back down and I introduce myself to Ethan. I was watching the dynamics between them and Elijah was acting very protective about Skylee. What happened?
Denis's POV
I walk back to Brooklin and she looks confused. She try's not to make eye contact because she might be embarrassed. I should be the one that's embarrassed. We go back home and she sits on the couch. I try to walk over to her and sit on the couch with her to talk but I trip on Apollo and I fell on her. She looked at me in surprise and blushed madly. I apologized and got back on my feet. I sat down next to her. Oh my god. I just remembered something. She saw me SHIRTLESS. I have to play it cool. I have to play it cool. I asked her if she liked what she saw!? Holy crap. I looked down at her hand and brushed my hand on hers. She got the chills and flinched. I slid my hand under hers and our fingers intertwined. I can't BREATHE. That might be because Ethan decided to sit on me and I didn't even notice. Brooklin, Elijah and Skylee all busted up laughing because apparently Ethan farted on me. Oh well.
