Almost There

~~~~~TIME SKIP 2 MONTHS~~~~~

Brooklin's POV

I wake up with shooting pains going through my body. It's one in the morning and I can't even stand up. Denis shifted in the bed and heard me struggle. He turned the lamp on that was on the nightstand.
"Brooke you okay???" he asked, his eyes growing wide.
"Get me to the hospital... NOW!" I yelled. Skylee and the boys came bathing in our room, shaken. Denis pushes past all of them and gently led me downstairs. I hear a splat and feel the floor get wet. My water broke. Denis gasped and hurried down the stairs, still being careful that I didn't hurt myself. We got in the car and sped down the freeway towards the nearest hospital. We barged in and the lady at the desk looked at us and gave me a wheelchair. Finally. They rushed me into the nearest room and shut the door behind Denis.
"Brooklin these are just contractions you are going to make it through them" the doctor said.     I felt one coming and I grabbed Denis's hand and squeezed his hand to the point where it turned purple and I let out a bloody murder scream. Denis was utterly horrified and his hand was swollen.
"Brooklin, you're only dilated 6 cm and you need to be at 10." the doctor said.
"God DAMMIT!" I yelled and Denis tried to calm me down. After a few more hours and contractions, I was finally dilated. Jesus Christ finally. A bunch of doctors and nurses came in and it was really awkward at first. Some of it was a blur. I only remember some of what happened since it was so fast.
"On the count of three, push for ten seconds! One, two, three!" I pushed as hard as I could and Denis's hand was pretty much broken.
"I see her head!" the doctor reassured me.
"You're almost there!" I gave another hard push, and another until I heard a cry. My baby's cry.

Denis's POV

I can't feel my hand anymore but I don't care. I hear my baby's cry and it's the most beautiful noise I have ever heard. Brooklin let my hand go and I wanted to see my baby girl.
"What's her name?" the nurse turned around and asked us.
"Bailey" Brooklin said out of breath.
"Bailey Ann Kopotun" The nurse wrapped Bailey up in the blanket and handed her to Brooklin.
"Hey there my little bean" Brooklin said softly. It was so cute seeing her as a mother. I couldn't help but kiss her. I looked at Bailey and my heart melted. I finally got to hold her and Brooklin sat in the bed and looked at the ceiling.
"You won't get to rest much longer" the doctor said.
"You got another one coming" WHAT??? I ONLY ORDERED ONE!
"Push in one, two, three..." and before I knew it, I had a baby boy.
"Benjamin Parker Kopotun" I said triumphantly.
"Or Ben for short" Brooklin looked tired and scared. It sunk in finally and I sat down with Bailey in my arms. She fell asleep and so did Brooklin. The doctor handed me Ben and I just sat there in the hospital room just waiting to find out what happens next in this crazy roller coaster called life.
